As noted before, Paramount Skydance Corporation has been preparing a major bid to potentially acquire Warner Bros Discovery, current media broadcast partner of AEW. Paramount’s initial bid for WBD was rejected earlier this month due to WBD not being pleased with the low amount offered. Besides Paramount, Netflix and Comcast are among the interested parties for a potential purchase of WBD.
Deadline reported that their sources stated that Netflix has recently shown growing interest in potentially acquiring WBD.
It was reported that Netflix has “enlisted investment bank Moelis & Co. to evaluate a potential offer for Warners’ streaming and studio business.”
This reportedly would open the door for Netflix to gain access to WBD’s necessary financial details for a potential bid offer for the company.
