Cody Rhodes Comments on His Work for New Street Fighter Film & Being Adamant on Doing His Own Stunts
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rhodes’ thoughts about how his wrestling background had prepared him for his recent work in the filming of the new live action Street Fighter film.
“The physicality part of Guile was a pretty easy pick up. A bit of a spoiler for what I hope is going to be a monster movie, Guile does a few things — in terms of the video games, you know Guile is going to do a Sonic Boom, you know he’s going to do the Flash Kick. I was adamant that anything that’s a stunt, I want to do it. If that requires me being on these wires, I wanna do it. If you put another guy over here in the corner who I know is going to do the shot after, I still want a shot at it. His name is JV, his stunt squad is putting together these fights because it’s Street Fighter, you need fights, it’s a fighting tournament. Unbelievable, very easy for me to jump right into it and he had a great team around me to let me get one go at a couple of things that I hope I get to see in the movie.
That movie, if you’ve ever played particularly Street Fighter 2, what Kitao Sakurai has done as the director is unbelievable. It’s just fan service. If you saw us walking around the lot in Australia, you’ve got [all these characters]. I don’t want to say the real final boss, but in that game, you know. Just a really wonderful cast. I think one thing they did on this movie that was awesome was Noah, Koji, and Callina, who are the three leads, unbelievable actors who take it serious and are there to work everyday. Then you’ve got me and 50 Cent and Andrew Schulz and Roman, we were able to play. They let us have a lot of fun and I hope people enjoy how I approach Guile because it’s different than straight military man, I suppose.”

Tiffany Stratton Comments on “Las Vegas Is The Perfect Place To Host WrestleMania”
Sidewalk Entertainment held a recent interview with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. One of the topics discussed included Stratton’s thoughts about her thoughts about WrestleMania 42 taking place in Las Vegas next year and her belief that Las Vega is the perfect place for WWE to host WrestleMania.
“Last year was actually my first WrestleMania ever. I was super nervous. It was in Las Vegas. So I felt like it was the perfect state for my first ever WrestleMania. I feel like Las Vegas is iconic. It’s the sports entertainment capital of the world. So it was the perfect place to host WrestleMania. WrestleMania is like the Super Bowl of wrestling of WWE. They have literally something for everybody in Las Vegas. This year they’re going to have Raw. They’re going to have SmackDown. They’re going to have NXT Stand and Deliver there. There’s going to be after parties. There’s going to be watch parties all along the strip. So I’m excited to go back. I’m going to make my time there super fun and hopefully do a bunch of things along the strip. So yeah, I’m excited to go back. It’s like kind of nostalgic for me. That’s where I had my first ever WrestleMania. So yeah, I’m excited.”
