Goldberg Comments on “Some Girl In WWE Broke My Streak. They Did It On Purpose. I Have Nothing Against The Girl”
A recent episode of the Real Talk with Mike Burke podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Goldberg’s thoughts about his belief that WWE purposely had “some girl”, Asuka, break his record for longest undefeated streak in wrestling over them still having lingering resentment towards WCW.
“They already did. Some girl at WWE. They did it on purpose. I have nothing against the girl, by any means, but yeah. The whole WWE experience…I was part of WCW when we were kicking their ass in the Monday Night Wars. I didn’t know what was going on at the time, I was just on one of the sides. Now, one side dissolves and the other one consumes everything, so they can treat everyone and everything the way they want. I think there is always going to be the bird in their ass that I was part of a company where I was the champion in a very short period of time and we were beating them in the ratings.”

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the current expectation within WWE is that Morgan will be ready to return to the ring by early 2026.
Johnson reported that those spoken to also stated that there is also a current belief that there is a chance that Morgan could come back even sooner than expected if she stays ahead of schedule during her rehab.
Jacy Jayne Comments on Lainey Reid Joining Fatal Influence
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jayne’s thoughts about the recent changes to her Fatal Influence stable and Lainey Reid joining as its newest member.
“I think it’s still too soon to really say anything. We had our first match — me and Lainey (Reid) together — last night. Before that, we had had a singles match and I felt we had great chemistry right off the bat. I definitely think Lainey is a huge… I don’t wanna say upgrade because that’s so mean but, she’s definitely gonna fit the part and she’s gonna do a good job. She’s a great worker. She’s like a sponge, she listens to everything, she takes everything in really well. But, I’m kind of used to new partners all the time. This isn’t anything new to me. It’s all part of adapting. Things change all the time. This is show business. Last-minute changes, things you never thought would happen. You just kind of have to go with the flow and figure it out as you go.”
