I can’t express how meaningful these visits are for me. Truly grateful.”

Blake Monroe Comments on Her Feud with Jordynne Grace “Definitely Put Me Through Really Tough Matches And Pushed Me To My Limit”

TV Insider held a recent interview with Blake Monroe. One of the topics discussed included Monroe’s thoughts about her recent feud with Jordynne Grace in WWE’s NXT brand and how Grace put her through really tough matches and pushed her to her limit.

“I think the exciting thing about WWE is everybody has a different background. I train at the PC all week and you see a lot of athletes coming in, but you also see our current world champ Ricky Saints who came from the independents. Jordynne has been wrestling for, I don’t know how old that woman is, but she has been wrestling for a really long time. We have girls coming in from Japan, Mexico. I think what is really exciting for me is I love getting in with people when we’re totally different. I’m thinking, “what am I going to learn from you, how are our styles going to match? You never know who you’re going to have that chemistry with. Jordynne definitely put me through really tough matches and pushed me to my limit. That’s because of her background and what she brings to the table. I would love to get in with Sol because her background is so different, but imagine that meeting my style of wrestling. I think what is really cool is everyone has their own thing. We’re not all doing the same stuff. I think the more different you are and working together, that could tell a really great story.”

In a recent interview with the Wrestling History Channel, Kendal Grey gave her thoughts about her recent WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship victory against Kali Armstrong at last week’s WWE EVOLVE Succession show. Grey stated “It feels amazing. Honestly, it’s… It’s a full circle moment. You know, I just came up on two years being at the Performance Center and it just feels amazing. It feels like all my hard work since day one is slowly paying off. And I feel like this is just a stepping stone to my career here in WWE.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Kendal Grey also gave her thoughts about people comparing her to WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angel due to her amateur wrestling background. Grey stated “Well, I definitely don’t have a gold medal at the Olympics, I’ll tell you that. I think for me, I think being compared to him — obviously he’s one of the greats, so it is a cool comparison, but I try to just be different. For women’s wrestling in the women’s division, not many people come from an amateur wrestling background, so I would like to bring that into the women’s division. Obviously, women and men, even in amateur wrestling, they wrestle so different. I’m just trying to be different, I hope that I can bring my own personality into it and I don’t know, just be fun with it. I don’t want to be compared to someone or feel like I have to live up to someone’s experience, I just want to have my own experience and have fun.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
