Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Arrest Update
As noted before, a man named Shawn Chan was arrested this past June outside of WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over charges of him being an alleged stalker of Liv Morgan. Chan was issued federal charges related to a stalking incident at Morgan’s home, which Morgan was away from at the time. Chan had filed a motion this past August requesting to be released from jail that was rejected by the court twice.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Chan is currently no longer scheduled to be going on trial next month, based on recent court records.
Johnson reported that an unopposed motion was filed earlier today before the court requesting that the trial be pushed back by two months. This would mean that the earliest Chan would stand trial would be in January of 2026.
In the filing, it was stated “Mr. Chan is charged with the interstate stalking of a professional wrestler. An initial psychological evaluation done to examine his competency diagnosed delusional disorder. The Defense has retained an expert to more fully evaluate Mr. Chan for purposes of trial, and likely to testify. If this second expert will provide testimony, the Government will have a right to conduct its own examination.”
WWE’s Current Plans for Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series WarGames 2025
As noted before, WWE had been working on plans for this year’s Men’s WarGames match at next month’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event to feature CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, & a fifth member for the face team and The Vision (Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, “Big” Bronson Reed, & Austin Theory) & Brock Lesnar for the heel team. These plans were changed due to Seth Rollins’ recent shoulder injury and surgery.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that as of press time, his sources stated that WWE’s current plans for this year’s Men’s WarGames match is for a Punk and Reigns’ led team to face off against The Vision-led team. This Vision team would no longer include Rollins due to his injury.
Meltzer reported that some within WWE had thought that with all the recent injuries that the plans would be changed instead to The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, & Erick Rowan) vs. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, & Talla Tonga) due to those two groups currently feuding with each other.
