Natalya Comments on “Bayley Is All About Giving Back, She Loves Helping Men And Women”

Fox News held a recent interview with Natalya. One of the topics discussed included Natalya’s thoughts about her praise of Bayley for her being someone well respected in WWE’s locker room and her being very helpful towards others in the company.

“There’s bits and pieces I see of myself in certain women. I think Bayley is very selfless. She’s all about giving back. She loves helping men and women. She’s somebody that just loves to give to the business. Even if she’s in a rut about something, she’s quick to pull herself out of it. She’s very grateful. She’s very grateful for all she has.

I gave her a book the other day, and an hour later she’s posting about it and sharing it. She celebrates her friends and I love that. She’s somebody that the locker room looks up to. If it’s somebody’s birthday, she’ll get them a cake.”

In a recent interview with the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Drew McIntyre gave his thoughts about who would be his choices for a dream bar fight team. McIntyre stated “Brock Lesnar popped in my head right away. He’s the kinda guy, I’ve been in the ring with certain guys like Big Show, Mark Henry and the likes where they grab you and you’re like, ‘They could do anything with me right now, but if you let me go I’m gonna run away.’ Brock can chase you down and catch you. So let’s go Brock. Cain Velasquez was there for a minute. He’s one of the only few humans that could beat up Brock, so let’s go Velasquez. He was there I remember in Saudi one time, I was chatting with him for a minute. Haku. It’s almost like a given, but the funny thing is, if you get to know him, you get to meet him, he’s the nicest guy in the world. It’s always the nicest guys. Like me, I’m the nicest guy in the world, and I always come up in these conversations as one of the tough guys backstage, because it’s the nice guys you’ve gotta watch out for. So we’ve got Brock, Velasquez, Haku, do we need someone to sacrifice? Hornswoggle! That would make some of the boys happy because he drove some of the boys mental. I always got on great with him, but he drove some of the boys mental and they would end up kicking his a**, and you know what, it was totally justified them kicking his a**. So we’ll sacrifice Swoggle while the rest of us beat everyone else’s ass, because who’s beating that team?” (Transcript h/t: F4WOnline.com)

In a recent new video on his official YouTube channel, lawyer and former WWE wrestler David Otunga gave his thoughts about the language in WWE’s contracts when it comes to them classifying talents as independent contractors. Otunga stated “So, let me apologize in advance to WWE because I’m now going to completely dismantle your independent contractor clause in the contract. Look, WWE, I don’t want any smoke with you. I don’t want any problems. But I promise on my channel, I would try to be objective and just with everything going on, I have to cover this. I really do. Look, I’d be more than happy to help you guys rewrite this. I’d be happy to rewrite it for you. But, I have to go through it as it is. So just wanna say that beforehand. Please don’t be mad.” Otunga also gave his thoughts about WWE talent contracts including an private arbitration clause when it comes to talents wanting to challenge their contract in court. Otunga stated “So, even if a wrestler wanted to challenge WWE’s contract, they can’t just go to court. Why, you ask? Because very deep in every WWE contract is a binding arbitration clause, and it basically says that any dispute, claim or controversy has to be settled privately in Stamford, Connecticut through arbitration. Not in open court. So, this means there’s no jury, no public trial and no class actions. The arbitrator’s decision is final and confidential. So, if a wrestler ever challenged a non-compete or contractor status, it would happen behind closed (doors). But this, in and of itself, is another contradiction. Think about it, WWE calls wrestlers independent contractors but forces them into arbitration like employees. Independent contractors normally have the right to choose how and where to resolve disputes. But WWE removes that choice entirely in the contract. So, that’s another layer of control, and another reason the independent contractor label just doesn’t hold up.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
