Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater vs. La Parka & Mr. Iguana Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured one new match announced for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This new match announced was a tag team match of Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater vs. La Parka & Mr. Iguana.

This new match was setup following Slater defeating Channging “Stacks” Lorenzo to retain the TNA X-Division Championship and Evans and Slater giving a promo about how they both wanted to be at NXT Halloween Havoc and on the same team. Evans then issued an open challenge which was answered by AAA’s Mr. Iguana and La Parka.

Jasper Troy & Axiom Advances to Finals of WWE Speed Men’s Title #1 Contender Tournament

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured two First Round matches for the current WWE Speed Men’s Championship #1 Contender tournament.

The first match was Jasper Troy defeating Zachary Wentz.

As a result of their victories, Troy and Axiom advances to the Finals of WWE’s current WWE Speed Men’s Championship #1 Contender tournament.

Broken Rules Stip for NXT Tag Titles Match at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the first of two newly updated match for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This newly updated match was announced to be a NXT Tag Team Championship Broken Rules match of two members of DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and/or Osiris Griffin) vs. Hardy Boyz (Broken Matt & Brother Nero) (c).

This newly updated match was setup following a video promo segment featuring DarkState and The Hardys talking about their upcoming NXT Tag titles match and The Hardys being seen at The Hardys Compound and entering the Lake of Rejuvenation. Matt and Jeff Hardy came out of the lake as their Broken Matt and Brother Nero personas and stated that their match at NXT Halloween Havoc will now be held under Broken Rules which means anything goes.

Sol Ruca Announces She Is Not Medically Cleared to Compete at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025 & Blake Monroe vs. Zaria Set for NXT Women’s North American Title

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of two newly updated match for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025, which takes place on October 25th at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

This newly updated match was announced to be a NXT Women’s North American Championship match of Blake Monroe vs. Zaria (c).

This newly updated match was setup following NXT GM Ava and ZaRuca being seen in the ring. Sol Ruca was seen with crutches and addressed her injury situation from this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show. Ruca stated that she was not medically cleared to compete for this weekend’s NXT Halloween Havoc event and wouldn’t be able to defend her NXT Women’s North American title. Ruca continued stating that she is not sure when she will be medically cleared for a return.

This led to Monroe coming out and wanted Ava to officially name her as the new NXT Women’s North American champion due to her being the number one contender and Ruca not being able to defend her title at Halloween Havoc.

Ava refused which led to Zaria getting involved and suggested that she defend Ruca’s title in her place at Halloween Havoc. After some banter between Monroe and Zaria, Ava made it official after Ruca gave her approval. This led to a brawl breaking out between Monroe and Zaria that ended with Zaria laying out Monroe.
