Trick Williams vs. Ricky Saints for NXT Title Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show featured the first of four new matches announced for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This new match is a NXT Championship match of Trick Williams vs. Ricky Saints (c).

This new match was setup following Saints coming out to the ring and talking about Williams betraying Team NXT during the Men’s Survivor Series match at NXT Showdown and how this shows the difference between him and Williams when it comes to facing pressure. Saints then called out Williams and issued a challenge to him for a match with his NXT Championship on the line at NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This led to Trick showing up on the big screen and after some insults directed at Saints, Trick told Saints that he will do it on his time. Trick then stated for them to talk about it. Saints responded stating Trick is talking crazy and he didn’t expect Trick to come out to confront him. Saints continued stating he is Ricky Saints and he says they can talk about it.

In a follow-up segment, it was announced that this match was made official for NXT Halloween Havoc.

DarkState vs. The Hardys for NXT Tag Titles Set for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured the second of four new matches announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT Tag Team Championship match of two members of DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and/or Osiris Griffin) vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving Je’Von Evans, Leon Slater, and The Hardys that featured Matt Hardy saying they would get some receipts at NXT Halloween Havoc for what DarkState did to Evans and Slater at TNA Bound For Glory 2025. Matt also revealed that this rematch would be for the Hardys’ NXT Tag titles.

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page in Day of the Dead for NXT North American Title Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured the third of four new matches announced for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025.

This new match announced was a NXT North American Championship Day of the Dead match of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page (c)

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Wagner and Page’s bad blood issues with each other. Following Wagners victory over Lexis King in a singles match, Wagner called out Page. This led to Page’s music playing and him coming out to the stage. After some words boasting about himself, Page stated that he had a talk with Ava and Wagner will be challenging him for his NXT North American title at NXT Halloween Havoc. Wagner responded back speaking in Spanish and mentioned “Dia de Los Muertos.” This led to Page giving a confused reaction and Wagner speaking in English saying he wants Page in a Day of the Dead match where anything goes.

Tatum Paxley vs. Jacy Jayne for NXT Women’s Title Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2025

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured the fourth of three new matches for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2025, which takes place on October 25th at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

This new match announced was a NXT Women’s Championship match of Tatum Paxley vs. Jacy Jayne (c).

This match was setup following Paxley winning a #1 Contender’s Battle Royal match for the NXT Women’s Championship.

WWE Speed Men’s Title Tournament Announced

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured NXT GM Ava announcing a new WWE Speed Men’s Championship Contender’s tournament.

It was announced that Axiom will be facing off against Sean Legacy and Zachary Wentz will be facing off against Jasper Troy. The winners will advance to the Finals and the winner of that match will get to face off against El Grande Americano for the WWE Speed Men’s Championship.

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured four new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on October 21st at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Among the notable new matches announced was a TNA X-Division Championship match of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Leon Slater (c).
