The Hardys Wins NXT Tag Titles

Tuesday’s WWE NXT Showdown show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeating DarkState (Osiris Griffin & Dion Lennox) to become the new WWE NXT Tag Team Champions.

This match also featured The Hardys’ TNA World Tag Team Championship on the line.

This was the Hardys’ first ever NXT Tag Team Championship in their wrestling careers. This was also the first time a TNA contracted wrestler won a championship in WWE since the start of WWE’s partnership with TNA.

Tuesday’s WWE NXT Showdown show also featured Team NXT Women’s (Jaida Parker, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, & Jacy Jayne) defeated Team TNA Women’s (The IInspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee), Mara Sade, & Kelani Jordan) in a NXT vs. TNA 4-on-4 Women’s Survivor Series Elimination Special Guest Referee match.
