Adam Pearce Strips Seth Rollins of WWE World Title & Announces New Champion to Be Crowned at November 1st WWE SNME Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California featured RAW GM Adam Pearce officially announcing that Seth Rollins has been stripped of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to injury.

During the show, Pearce was seen in the ring but before he could say anything, a video aired on the big screen showing a black SUV pulling up and The Vision coming out and Bron Breakker being seen holding the WWE World title. The Vision’s Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, & Breakker made their way to the ring and confronted Pearce. Pearce stated that he was glad they were here because they brought Rollins’ title. Pearce talked about how he knew that Rollins was banged up coming out of his match with Cody Rhodes but now Rollins was injured because of what Breakker and Reed did to him. Pearce announced that he has stripped Rollins of his WWE World title and a battle royal will be held tonight to determine a challenger to face off against CM Punk for the vacant title at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show.

Pearce then asked for Breakker to hand over the title to him, which Breakker refused at first. After some tension moments between Pearce and Breakker, Breakker handed the title over to Heyman who then handed it over to Pearce who then left the ring with it.

Paul Heyman Gives Reason for The Vision Turning on Seth Rollins

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Paul Heyman explaining the reasons why “Big” Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker turned on Seth Rollins and attacked him at last week’s show.

During the show, The Vision were in the ring after handing over Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt to RAW GM Adam Pearce after he vacated Rollins’ title reign. Reed gave Heyman a microphone and he began to explain the reasons why The Vision turned on Rollins. Heyman talked about how he didn’t dump Roman Reigns and betray CM Punk at WrestleMania 41 just to be with Rollins. Heyman continued stating that he did it because Breakker is the future of WrestleMania and he always knew Reed was better than Reigns. Heyman then proceeded to insult Rollins saying he isn’t the leader of the Vision and couldn’t “shoulder” the responsibility of leading them into the future. Heyman then called Rollins a “bum shoulder bitch.”

AJ Styles & Dragon Lee Wins WWE World Tag Titles

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured AJ Styles & Dragon Lee defeating Judgement Day (JD McDonagh & Finn Balor) to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.

This was Styles and Lee’s first ever WWE World Tag Team Championship victory as a team, Styles’ second WWE World Tag titles victory, and Lee’s first ever main roster championship victory in their WWE careers.

Nikki Bella Makes Surprise Return

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Nikki Bella making a surprise return appearance.

Following Stephanie Vaquer’s victory over Roxanne Perez, Judgement Day’s Raquel Rodriguez got into the ring and attacked Vaquer leading to Perez joining in on the attack. This led to Bella’s music playing and her making a surprise appearance running out to save Vaquer. After some brawling, Vaquer and Bella cleared the ring of Judgement Day.

Jey Uso vs. CM Punk for Vacant WWE World Title Set for November 1st WWE SNME

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE’s next Saturday Night’s Main Event show, which takes place on November 1st at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This new match announced was a Vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship match of Jey Uso vs. CM Punk.

This new match was setup following CM Punk winning a #1 Contender’s match at last week’s show and Uso winning a #1 Contender Battle Royal match during tonight’s show.
