Pre-show Arrivals

We cut to Drew McIntyre inside the arena and the camera cuts to Cody Rhodes walking backstage. We see Nia Jax in the arena and the camera cuts to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. We see Jade Cargill on her phone backstage and that takes us to last week’s SmackDown where Cargill attacked Tiffany Stratton after her match.

In-Ring: Tiffany Stratton, Nick Aldis, Jade Cargill

Michael Cole and Corey Graves are at ringside and we see Tiffany Stratton getting in the ring. She says to cut the SmackDown music. Tiffany says she has a bone to pick with Jade Cargill and she won’t wait until her music hits or tomorrow night. She calls out Jade Cargill to the ring.

Out comes Nick Aldis who tells her to think it through. He says Tiffany is cleared as tolerated, that means no physical contact before her match tomorrow. Tiffany says she doesn’t care what the doctors have to say after last week. Tiffany calls Jade a coward and tells her to come out.

Jade’s music hits and out she comes. Aldis tells Jade no physical contact and he asks for security. Jade tells Nick that she wasn’t going to do anything, this doesn’t serve her. She busted her head a couple of weeks ago and she tasted her own blood. And she wants that title. And tomorrow, Tiffy time is up.

Tiffany gets out of the ring and goes after Jade but security stops her as Jade begins walking to the back. Tiffany gets back in the ring and grabs her title as Tiffany’s music hits.

Back to Cole and Graves and we cut to highlights of Ilja Dragunov.

Backstage: R-Truth, Motor City Machine Guns, Solo Sikoa

Back from commercial, the Motor City Machine Guns are with R-Truth and R-Truth is dressed as Santa Claus. He gives them candy and he leaves. In comes Solo Sikoa and they tell him they are going after the tag team titles. Solo calls them Harry Potter and he says MFTs are in line for the tag team titles. Sabin says if he was Harry Potter, he would cast a spell and shut him up. He challenges Solo to a match and Solo says that’s a good idea and he will speak with Nick Aldis.

Nathan Frazer vs. Ilja Dragunov (c)

Out comes Tommaso Ciampa as Fraxiom are coming down to the ring. He says no and gets in the ring. He says Dragunov can’t be thinking about giving this nerd a match. Ciampa and Frazer begin arguing and Dragunov says the open challenge is made for every competitor. But to be fair, Nathan was there first. But for the United States title, there is no reward for jackasses and he tells Ciampa to leave.

The bell rings and we are under way. Frazer with a running knee to the face. He gets Dragunov in the corner and hits him with chops to the chest but Dragunov with a right hand and an uppercut. Dragunov with a chop to the chest but Frazer with a kick to the side of the head and Dragunov falls to the outside of the ring. Frazer with a suicide dive. Frazer throws Dragunovback into the ring and Frazer gets on the top rope. He jumps, Dragunov ducks and Frazer lands on his feet. Dragunov with a waist lock but Frazer with elbows. Frazer to the ropes and Dragunov with a chop to the chest. Dragunov with another chop and he goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Dragunov with a knee to the side of the head. He gets Frazer in the corner and hits him with a chop to the chest. Frazer on the ring apron and Dragunov grabs him but Frazer hangs him up on the top rope. Frazer goes for a springboard off the top rope but Dragunov moves and Frazer gets back onto the ring apron. Dragunov with a kick to the face and Frazer falls back onto the announce table. Dragunov to the outside and he lands a German suplex.

Back from commercial, Dragunov and Frazer with right hands. Dragunov with a German suplex and he does not release it. Dragunov with another German suplex. Dragunov does not let go and he goes for another German suplex but Frazer lands on his feet. Frazer with a springboard reverse neck breaker followed by a running shooting star. He goes for the cover but Dragunov kicks out. Both men on their feet and exchange right hands. Frazer with a kick and he goes for another but Dragunov lands a back elbow. Dragunov lifts Frazer up and slams him onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Dragunov climbs the top rope and jumps but Frazer moves out of the way and Dragunovlands on his feet. Frazer with a kick but Dragunov with a kick to the side of the head. Dragunov runs towards Frazer but Frazer moves out of the way and Dragunov falls to the outside of the way. Dragunov gets on the ring apron and Frazer runs towards him but Dragunov with a right hand. Dragunov climbs the top rope, he goes for a senton but Frazer moves out of the way. Frazer climbs the top rope and he goes for the frog splash. He goes for the cover but Dragunov kicks out.

Back from commercial, Dragunov is on the second rope but Frazer with a right hand. Frazer gets on the top rope and he goes for a hurricanrana but Dragunov stops him. Dragunov lifts Frazer up but Frazer with a hurricanrana. Dragunov to the outside of the ring and Frazer with a splash over the top rope. He lands a drop kick onto Dragunov. He throws Dragunov back into the ring. Frazer gets on the top rope and he lands the Phoenix Splash. He goes for the cover but Dragunov kicks out. Frazer with right hands and he climbs the top rope. Dragunov gets on the second rope but Frazer with an elbow and Dragunov falls to the mat. Frazer on the top rope but Dragunov gets up and he chops Frazer’s leg. Dragunov climbs the second rope and he lands a back suplex. Frazer falls on the back of his neck. Dragunov goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Dragunov with right hands and he powerbombs Frazer. Dragunov with the H Bomb. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov via Pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Frazer is down and Dragunov helps him up and they shake hands. Frazer leaves the ring but Ciampa hits him from behind.

Backstage: DIY, Fraxiom, Ilja Dragunov, Tama Tonga

Back from commercial, Frazer and Ciampa are fighting backstage. WWE officials try to break it up and in comes Dragunov. He breaks it up. He turns around and we see Tama Tonga holding the United States Championship. He gives the title to Dragunov and walks away.

Kit Wilson vs. Carmelo Hayes

The bell rings and we are under way. Wilson with right hands but Hayes with right hands. Wilson with a rake to the eyes followed by a spinning back elbow. Wilson with a running back elbow to the face. He grabs Hayes and he lands a kick to the back of the neck. Wilson with a spinning spiked DDT. He goes for the cover but Hayes kicks out. A European uppercut from Wilson followed by right hands. He goes for a suplex but Hayes lands on his feet. Hayes with right hands and a chop to the chest. Hayes with a spring board clothesline. Hayes picks Wilson up and he slams him face first onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Wilson kicks out. Wilson rolls to the outside of the ring and Hayes with a jumping splash over the top rope onto Wilson on the outside of the ring. He throws Wilson back into the ring and with the referee distracted, out comes Miz and he throws Hayes into the ring post and into the ring. Miz hides at ring side as Wilson climbs the top rope. He lands an elbow off the top rope. He goes for the cover but Hayes kicks out. Wilson gets to his feet and runs towards Hayes but Hayes with the First 48. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Carmelo Hayes via Pinfall.

After the match, Hayes is celebrating but in comes The Miz and he hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale.

Backstage: Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair

Cathy Kelley is backstage with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. Kelley congratulates them on defending the titles on Raw. Bliss says if the Kabuki Warriors have a problem, they know where to find them. Flair says she normally doesn’t let people in but she let Bliss in and her life is a lot better. Flair says Naomi has not healed and that is why she doesn’t have any friends. Bliss says tonight, she will show Naomi why she will out-do her.

Backstage: Sami Zayn, Nick Aldis

Back from commercial, Sami Zayn is backstage with Nick Aldis. Zayn says he knows he is not cleared but he wants to be out there for the Motor City Machine Guns. Aldis says with the MFTs, it will just make things worse and he asks Zayn to sit this one out. Zayn says he will and in comes Cody Rhodes. He tells Zayn what he did with the US title was great, he is proud of him and he should be proud. Zaym says better days ahead and he wishes Rhodes good luck for tomorrow.

Aldis says he has to look at Cody in the eye and ask him if he had anything to do with the attack of Jacob Fatu. Rhodes says he knows it was his job to ask but no, he liked Jacob. Aldis shows him the contract and Rhodes says he doesn’t have to show it to him, he has to show it to Drew. Cody walks away and we cut to the ring.

Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss

The bell rings and we are under way. Bliss with a right hand followed by a headbutt. She lands a splash in the corner and she throws Bliss down onto the mat. Jax places Bliss on the top rope but Bliss kicks her in the face. Bliss jumps onto Nia’s back but Nia throws her onto the mat. Bliss to the ropes but Nia runs into Bliss, taking her down. Jax with a headbutt and she goes for an elbow but Bliss moves out of the way. Bliss to the ropes but Nia goes for a powerbomb. Bliss with right hands and Bliss lands on her feet. Nia throws Bliss shoulder first into the ring post. Nia gets on the ring apron and she goes for a hip attack but Bliss moves out of the way. Bliss kicks Nia down. Bliss gets on the ring apron and goes for a cross body but Nia catches her and throws her into the barricade.

Back from commercial, Jax with a splash in the corner followed by a running hip attack. She goes for another hip attack but Bliss moves out of the way. Nia gets back up and she throws Bliss onto the ring apron. Nia with a right hand and Flair catches Bliss. She gets Bliss back on the ring apron. Nia goes for a right hand but Bliss moves out of the way. Bliss gets in the ring and she lands a head scissor take down. Bliss with kicks followed by a knee to the face and a drop kick. Bliss with a cross body. She goes for the cover but Nia kicks out. Bliss grabs Nia but Nia pushes her away. Jax goes for a spear in the corner but Bliss moves out of the way and Nia spears the ring post. Bliss climbs the top rope but Nia gets on her feet and she lifts Bliss on her shoulders. Nia with a Samoan drop. She goes for the cover but Bliss kicks out. Bliss rolls to the outside of the ring. Nia to the outside and she tells Flair to get out of there. Nia clotheslines Bliss from behind. She throws Bliss back into the ring. Nia places Bliss under the turnbuckle and she climbs the second rope. Flair gets on the ring apron and that distracts Nia. Bliss with a kick and Nia falls down to the mat. Bliss goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Alexa Bliss via Pinfall.

Backstage: Solo Sikoa, The MFTs, Ray Fenix

We cut to the back and Solo Sikoa is with the MFTs. He sees Rey Fenix and he asks him what he wants. He asks Rey if he wants a fight and Rey tells him he doesn’t want to fight him. He wants to fight Tala Tonga. He says last week, Tala Tonga got his hands on him and Solo says they will have a match next week. Rey slaps Tala Tonga in the face and walks away. Solo tells him to focus on tonight.

A video package promo of Damian Priest airs. He says he doesn’t hate all of Aleister Black’s sneak attacks, that he uses his wife or that he set is face on fire. For some reason, his existence is personal to Black. But now it’s personal to him too. He tells him he knows what is coming but Black doesn’t know when or how but he knows why. He says Black spread his poison but now he will feel his venom.

Backstage: Tiffany Stratton, Nick Aldis, Kiana James, Giulia, Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, Nikki Cross

Aldis is backstage with Tiffany and he tells her she is not 100% fit. In come Kiana James and Giulia. James tells her she should have taken her advice and joined them. Tiffany tells her she will find the Tiffy time to kick her ass and she walks away. In come Chelsea and Alba Fyre. Chelsea says she wants a match. Aldis says that’s not how it works. Giulia says that’s fine, if Chelsea thinks she is the better champion, she can prove it. Aldis says they can have a match next week. Giulia and James walk away. Chelsea and Fyre turn around and see Nikki Cross, they get scared and run off.

The MFTs (JC Mateo & Tama Tonga) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)

The bell rings and we are under way. Shelley and JC start the match. JC with right hands. He goes for a splash but Shelley kicks him in the face. Shelley with chops to the chest. Sabin is tagged in and they double team JC. Sabin goes for the cover but JC kicks out. He grabs JC but JC throws him into the corner. Tama Tonga is tagged in. Tama with right hands followed by a side head lock. Sabin to the ropes and Shelley tags himself in. They double team Tonga and he is thrown to the outside of the ring. JC is knocked off the ring apron and the Motor City Machine Guns each with a cross body over the top rope. Shelley throws Tonga back in the ring but Tonga with a right hand. Tonga body slams Shelley. Tonga to the ropes and Shelley with a knee and Sabin is tagged in. They double team Tonga.

Back from commercial, Shelley and Tonga are in the ring. Tonga with a head lock and JC is tagged in. Shelley with right hands onto both men. Shelley slams JC face first onto the second turnbuckle. Tama tags himself in and Shelley kicks him away. Sabin is tagged in and he lands a baseball slide onto JC who is on the outside of the ring. Sabin climbs the top rope and lands a drop kick onto Tonga. JC gets in the ring and Sabin with a tornado DDT. Sabin climbs the second rope and jumps, landing a tornado DDT onto Tonga. He goes for the cover but Tonga kicks out. Shelley is tagged in and Sabin with a monkey flip. Tonga back to his feet and Shelley clotheslines him to the outside of the ring. Shelley to the ropes, Sabin tags himself in and Shelley with a baseball slide onto Tonga. Sabin with a suicide dive onto the MFTs on the outside of the ring. Sabin throws Tonga back into the ring. Solo tells Tala Tonga to get them but they kick him down. The Motor City Machine Guns get in the ring and they double team Tonga with kicks. Solo climbs the top rope, they go for Skull and Bones but Tonga Loa pushes Shelley to the outside of the ring. Tonga with the Cut Throat onto Sabin. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: The MFTs via Pinfall.

After the match, the MFTs get in the ring and Tala Tonga hits Sabin with a chokeslam. Out comes Rey Fenix and Tala Tonga stands in teh ring. Fenix with a kick onto Tonga. He gets in the ring but Tonga with a boot to the face. Shinsuke Nakamura’s music hits and out he comes. He hits Tama Tonga with a right hand. Nakamura gets in the ring and he lands a headbutt onto Tama Tonga and onto JC. Tala Tonga goes for a big boot but Nakamura moves out of the way and he hits him with a kick. Nakamura gets on the second rope and jumps but Tala Tonga lands a chokeslam. The MFTs get in the ring and celebrate.

Backstage: Nick Aldis, Drew McIntyre

Nick Aldis is in the back and in comes Drew McIntyre. He tells Nick that he went through the contract, everything is good, no issues.A Aldis looks unsure and Drew tells Aldis that he has a very, very stressful job and he has to learn how to relax.

In-Ring: Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre

Back from commercial and Nick Aldis is in the ring with a table and two chairs. He introduces Cody Rhodes to the ring and out he comes. Cody gets in the ring and he tells the fans Happy Halloween. Aldis introduces Drew McIntyre to the ring.

Out comes Drew and he sits on one of the chairs. Aldis opens the contract and says they have already discussed it and all there is to do is to sign. Drew and Cody look at each other as the fans chant “Cody, Cody Rhodes”. Drew grabs the contract and says he can’t sign it. Cody grabs it and signs the contract.

Aldis asks him why he can’t sign it. Drew says it is lopsided. Aldis tells him it’s a standard contract, they know that and to sign it. Drew tells him no. He asks Aldis what happens if he gets disqualified, Cody keeps the title. If he gets counted out, Cody keeps the title. But what if Cody gets counted out or disqualified intentionally again, Cody keeps the title. He says it is lopsided and he won’t sign it. Aldis tells him that if he doesn’t want to sign it, he has had it with him. He says there are tons of men in the back who will gladly take his place and he will happily go there and get one of the right now. And they will sign it and face Cody.

Drew says to get one of them and he stands up. Cody tells him to sit down. Cody says he hears what Drew is saying. He wants a stipulation that if he gets counted out, he loses the title. Drew says yes. Cody says and if he gets disqualified, he loses the title. Drew says he wants that. Cody says he is 110% fine with that. Aldis says he strongly advises him not to. Cody says with respect, if he thinks he wants an easy way out, he doesn’t. Drew says if that is settled, he will sign it now.

Aldis says he is not happy about it. Cody tells Aldis that they all need to end it and to let it happen. Drew tells Aldis to do the right thing. Aldis agrees and Drew signs the contract. Drew says this is a happy moment for him and sad because they should be the best of friends after these 20 years. He wrote the blueprint which helped Cody finish the story, he just doesn’t like the way Cody goes about his business. He represents corporate America and the fans cheer him every week. Cody is the American Nightmare but he does things the right way. Drew works hard, tells the truth, he is from another country but an American citizen. He says he is the real American dream.

Cody calls Drew Dream and says Drew is glad that he continues to bring up their parallel past. It is commendable. Drew made a blueprint that people are still following, that he followed. He says Drew went over seas, he wrestled in front of maybe 100 people and did it again because he loves it the way he does. He says Drew became the Scottish Warrior and WWE had to call him back. But that is where their stories are different. When Cody got fed up from WWE, he grew some balls and walked. Drew got fired. Cody tells him good luck for tomorrow, nice guys used to finish last and then he showed up.

Drew gets up and says Cody won’t get the last word. The truth is that Cody gives and gives, the fans take and take. And one day, they will turn on Cody the way so many have turned on him. Drew says Cody wears his suit to impress them but what would be impressive is if Cody was with his lovely daughters trick or treating. Drew asks Cody what their names were again and Cody slams Drew’s face onto the table. Cody goes to hit Drew with the title but Drew ducks under him and leaves the ring.

Aldis is talking to Cody but in comes Drew and he hits Cody with the Claymore. Drew grabs the Undisputed Championship and he places it on the chair. Drew grabs Cody and he powerbombs him through the table. Drew and Aldis are face to face and Drew laughs. He grabs the Championship and he tells Cody he will be the new Undisputed Championship. Drew lifts the Undisputed Championship and gives it to Cody as SmackDown goes off the air.
