Aaron Wolf vs. EVIL for NEVER Openweight Title Set for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20

New Japan Pro Wrestling announced one newly updated match for the card of Wrestle Kingdom 20, which takes place on January 4, 2026 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

This newly updated match was a NEVER Openweight Championship match of Aaron Wolf vs. EVIL (c).

Wolf: I’m still a trainee, so I can’t say anything about this being a title match. I’ll leave it to the company to decide.

NJPW also confirmed that Yota Tsuji vs. Konosuke Takeshita for the IWGP Global Heavyweight and IWGP World Heavyweight Championships in a Title vs. Title match will be taking place at the event.

NJPW also confirmed that Syuri vs. Saya Kamitani for the IWGP Women’s and NJPW Strong Women’s Championships in a Title vs. Title match will also be taking place at the event.
