AEW Reportedly No Longer Has Training Ring In Florida Following Nashville Move
AEW reportedly recently moved their storage from its original location in Florida to a new location in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that AEW recently got rid of their storage unit in Florida and had moved all of their storage items to a new unit located in Nashville.
This storage move reportedly also included the ring AEW had been using for their wrestlers to train as part of their recovery process from injuries. Alvarez reported that it is currently not known what is AEW’s plan now for the recovery of their talent involving in-ring training.
Rusev Denies Again of Rumors of Him Refusing to Do Jobs in AEW
SHAK Wrestling held a recent interview with Rusev, former Miro in AEW. One of the topics discussed included Rusev denying again the rumors of him refusing to do jobs during his wrestling career in AEW.
“There’s a lot of rumors out there, but the problem is that a lot of these rumors are spread by one person, by these dirt sheets, so-called dirt sheets. And they have no evidence, no proof, right? They just can go out there, run a story … and nothing can be traced back to them. ‘Oh, I heard, I saw, duh-duh, duh duh.’ … Clearly, if you judge, just by this run, obviously that doesn’t make any sense. Clearly when I lost [the title to] to Sammy Guevara, that didn’t make any sense. When I lost to [Bryan Danielson] right after, that didn’t make any sense. When I lost to whoever … So let the people go back and review whatever and we can talk about that.”
Following the release of the interview, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer responded on Twitter about Rusev implying he was the person who was spreading the rumors and had no evidence or proof of it.
“I remember when I wrote he had a knee injury, he said I was lying, then started wrestling with a giant knee brace on.”

Clarification on Potential Return Date for Will Ospreay From Neck Injury
As noted before, Will Ospreay has been out of action for AEW since this past August’s Forbidden Door 2025 event due to a neck injury and surgery. The Body Alignment Clinic in the United Kingdom had provided an update earlier this month implying that Ospreay could potentially be cleared for an in-ring return in January of 2026.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that despite the clinic’s recent social media post, Ospreay will not be making a potential in-ring return in January of 2026. Meltzer reported that Ospreay is currently hopeful of being able to start light weight workouts that month.
In regards to a potential return timetable, Meltzer reported that Ospreay is still a long way away from being able to make an in-ring return.
