2025 Continental Classic Announced To Start at Next Week’s Show

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision 3-hour show at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts featured the announcement of this year’s Continental Classic tournament to officially start at next week’s Dynamite Thanksgiving Eve 2025 show on November 26th at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.

Timeless Love Bombs & Advances in AEW Women’s Tag Titles Tournament

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision 3-hour show also featured two First Round matches for the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament to crown inaugural champions.

The first match was Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa) defeating Alex Windsor & Riho.

The second match was Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir defeating TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay).

As a result of their victories, Timeless Love Bombs and Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir will be facing off against each other in the Semifinal Round of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.

Don Callis Family vs. El Sky Team for CMLL World Trios Titles Set for 11/22 Saturday Tailgate Brawl

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision 3-hour show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW’s next Saturday Tailgate Brawl show on November 22nd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

This upcoming show will be airing on TNT starting at 7PM EST and will be the pre-show for that night’s Full Gear 2025 event at the same venue.

This new match announced was a CMLL World Trios Championship match of Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Hechicero, & Konosuke Takeshita) vs. El Sky Team (Neon, Mascara Dorada, & Mistico) (c).

This new match was setup following Okada defeating Dorada in a Double Jeopardy match. This match featured the stipulation of if Okada won, then the Don Callis Family would get a shot at El Sky Team’s CMLL World Trios titles and if Dorada won, then he would get a shot at Okada’s AEW Unified title.

  • Boom & Doom (Big Boom AJ & QT Marshall) vs. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta)

Mercedes Mone Wins Undisputed ROH Women’s TV Title

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision 3-hour show also featured Mercedes Mone defeated Red Velvet in a Unification match to become the new Undisputed ROH Women’s World Television Champion.

This match featured Mone’s Interim ROH Women’s TV title and Red Velvet’s ROH World TV title being on the line.

As a result of her victory, Mone still currently holds 13th Women’s championships at the same time, swapping out her Interim ROH Women’s World TV title for the newly won Undisputed ROH Women’s World TV title.
