AEW reportedly generated around 135,000 to 140,000 pay-per-views for their Full Gear 2025 event on November 22nd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that due to the Thanksgiving holiday week, there is not much in terms of early data but there is enough to show that Full Gear did surprisingly well compared to expectations.
Meltzer reported that current data indicates that Full Gear has done the best numbers on HBO MAX for an AEW PPV event since AEW started airing their events live on the service. Other data reportedly also indicates that Full Gear is estimated to have generated the best PPV buys numbers since this past July’s All In Texas event.
Meltzer also reported that based on current data and estimates, Full Gear is currently estimated to generate slightly higher PPV buys than what this past September’s All Out 2025 event did for its buys.
In regards to attendance, Meltzer reported that AEW drew an attendance of 10,485 for Full Gear 2025. This was the fifth year in a row that AEW has drawn an attendance of over 10,000 for a Full Gear event.
