Update on MJF’s AEW Abscense & Filming Schedule

MJF has been out of action for AEW since this past September’s All Out 2025 event. The September 24th episode of AEW Dynamite featured MJF reflecting on his loss to Mark Briscoe in a Tables N’Tacks match and announcing that he was taking a break but promised to come back even more dangerous than before.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that MJF is currently set to finish filming for the upcoming new Violent Night 2 filming “relatively soon.” It was reported that it is currently not known when MJF will be returning to AEW.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that MJF currently has the “acting bug” and has spoken about how much he has enjoyed filming.
