Update on TNA Ejecting Fan From 11/15 TNA Impact! Tapings at Full Sail University

This past Saturday’s TNA Impact! tapings at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida featured two incidents involving fans being kicked out over allegations by TNA officials that they were recording video footage to leak online. One incident involve a family getting kicked out and another incident involved a well known wrestling fan from Florida named Jacob Cohen.

Cohen’s removal from the tapings was confirmed by him on Twitter. Cohen stated that TNA officials had felt that he was video taping stuff and he showed them his phone that did not contain any videos in question. Cohen stated that TNA officials returned and told him that he was still getting ejected from the tapings anyways.

“Just to let everyone know I have been asked by TNA management to leave the show tonight. There was a belief that I was filming the show, I showed them I was not. They returned and asked me to leave anyways. Wasn’t allowed to talk to anyone further So that’s all from me tonight.”

In a follow-up tweet, Cohen also stated that he was told that he would not be getting a refund for his ticket despite him not doing anything wrong.

Following the incident going public, TNA received a lot of negative online backlash over their actions towards Cohen at the tapings.

Cohen provided an update on Monday on Twitter stating that he received an apology from TNA over the incident and they would be taking a few steps to ensure this type of situation does not happen again in the future. Cohen also gave his thanks to everyone who supported him over the ordeal.

“I would like to offer an update.

I had a call with TNA Officials this morning, they apologized for what happened and have taken a few steps to remedy the situation so issues like this don’t occur in the future.

It’s easy to make a mistake, I appreciate them taking steps to fix it.

I also want to thank everyone that has reached out to me with kind words over the last 36 hours, I’m sincerely grateful for each and every one of you.

I’ve made so many friends through all of my wrestling journeys over the last few decades (I’m getting old) and I love you all.”

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within TNA stated that the company will be “making good” with Cohen, including refunding him his ticket money and some additional measures that they did not wish to speak on record about.
