Frankie Kazarian Comments on Online Reaction Over His TNA World Title Victory

As noted before, Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida featured Frankie Kazarian successfully cashing in his co-owned Call Your Shot trophy and defeating Mike Santana to become the new TNA World Champion.

Following the show, TNA released a digital exclusive backstage video featuring Kazarian giving his thoughts about the negative online reaction towards his title victory.

“All of you sitting at home on your dumpy asses, sending me nothing but hatred. Posting on social media about how angry you are, about how sad you are. I ask, please, please give me more. I bathe in your tears. Be angry with me, be very angry with me. But you know what? Get used to it, because the king has his crown. Frankie Kazarian is the TNA World Champion, and I’m going to be for a long time.”

Paul Walter Hauser Says He Has Been Approached About Playing Mick Foley In A Biopic

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured actor and indies wrestler Paul Walter Hauser as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Hauser revealing that he has been approached about playing WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley in a potential new wrestling-based biopic.

“I won’t get into details, but I’ve been approached about it, and we’re talking to the producers right now, and we’ve been in discussion for a while. I also got approached to play two other people in the wrestling world in the last couple of months alone. So I’m just kind of like waiting it out to see what what rises to the top. Because movie making is so weird. It might seem like a sure thing, and it goes away, and then sometimes something just pops up out of nowhere. The way we’re talking about it, I want to do a Mick Foley limited series, do like a four to six episode thing, and be able to tell the story a little more fully and not just be like, remember the time you fell off the cage? It’s like, the guy’s done so much more than that. He deserves more respect than that, too.”

In a recent interview with the What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Natalya gave her thoughts about Brodie Lee Jr., son of the late Jon Huber, recent training at her and TJ Wilson’s The Dungeon wrestling school. Natalya stated “I love Brodie and I love Nolan. When their dad passed away, I know you were there during that time and that you’ve taken on a role for them that is — when you’re a little boy growing up and you don’t have a dad, I know you’re a very big part of their life. I see it all the time with Brodie because you’re like his North Star. We train with Brodie and by the way, Brodie couldn’t have just come unless he proved himself. I said to Brodie, ‘You’ve got to prove yourself.’ I can’t just let everybody come into our ring unless you show me — Brodie proved himself, he earned his spot. Brodie sent me this text and he’s goes, ‘Nattie, I’m so sorry I can’t come to practice today, Cody’s surprising us and taking us to Disney World.’ TJ said to me like, ‘Cody’s like the busiest guy in the whole company right now.’ At the time, I think we were getting ready to go on a European tour. He goes, ‘Cody is the busiest guy in the world but he’s making time for people in ways.’ You’re showing up for people, especially for Brodie. Losing your dad in such a tragic way at 10 years old — it was very hard for those kids.” Host Cody Rhodes responded praising Natalya for giving Huber’s kids a good spot. Rhodes stated “He found a good spot with you guys. He really did. He’s hardworking and Nolan is such a beautiful kid. They’re good. When I see them there, you’ve sent me the clips, and he’s training so hard and whatever he’s going through, it’s special. Thank you, you’re made that a special place, you know?” Natalya also gave her thoughts about she’s very careful and creates a safe zone for Brodie Lee Jr. at the Dungeon. Natalya stated “It’s a safe zone. I’m really careful with Brodie because he is still just a kid but they’re great kids and we love them.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
