As noted before, Priscilla Kelly, former Gigi Dolin in WWE, stated in a recent interview with Denise Salcedo that a common misconception people have about NXT talents are that they make the big money in WWE and claimed they make as low as $30,000 per year. Besides Kelly, Luke Menzies (Ridge Holland) and Elayna Black (Cora Jade) have also recently talked about how poorly NXT talents are paid in WWE.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources clarified WWE’s pay scale system for their NXT developmental talents.
Alvarez reported that nobody within WWE’s NXT brand is making as little as $30,000 per year and instead the minimum pay for NXT talents is $75,000 per year. Alvarez reported that some bigger name talents brought from the outside make more from the start.
Alvarez reported that WWE ID talents would be making much less than $30,000 per year for their deals with WWE but they technically are not under an actual contract with the company. Alvarez reported that the money WWE ID talents receive from WWE is mainly to “help upgrade their look, etc.”
