Bianca Belair Broken Finger Injury & Potential Return Plans Update

As noted before, Bianca Belair has been out of action for WWE since this past April’s WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event due to a broken finger injury.

A recent episode of BET’s 106 & Sports featured Belair as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Belair providing an update on her recovery progress and revealed the cause of her broken finger injury.

“So I broke my knuckle, not my finger, I broke my knuckle, I broke the joint. It’s something that I thought was going to be a very straightforward, you know, 8-12 weeks. It’s been almost six months at this point.

But it was WrestleMania. I was in a triple threat with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. And we were going to the top rope, because that’s what we do, and we came off the top rope and Rhea landed straight on my hand — and it just crushed everything in my finger. So it’s been a crazy journey. You know, being an athlete and having an injury, you rely on your body and now my body’s not doing what it’s supposed to do. But I’m hoping that I can be back in the ring soon.”

MLSE Says New Partnership Deal with WWE Will Not Prevent Other Promotions From Holding Events in MLSE Venues

As noted before, WWE recently signed a new long-term strategic partnership deal with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE). This lead to online speculation of AEW not being able to run future events in Toronto in venues owned by MLSE due to their new deal with WWE.

TSN reporter Steve Argintaru stated on Twitter that when he asked if MLSE’s new partnership deal with WWE would prevent AEW from running events in their venues, an MLSE spokesperson told him that their new agreement “does not prevent other events in our venues.”

MLSE currently owns the Scotiabank Arena and OVO Athletic Centre and has investments in BMO Field, Coca-Cola Coliseum, Ford Performance Centre, and others in the Toronto area.

Edris Enofe WWE Departure Update

As noted before, WWE NXT and WWE EVOLVE talent Edris Enofe announced his official departure from WWE this past September.

Fightful reported that WWE recently moved Enofe’s profile to their Alumni section on their official website confirming his departure.
