ESPN President Comments on Partnership with WWE Has “Gone Great So Far”
A recent episode of the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast featured ESPN President Burke Magnus as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Magnus’ thoughts about how the working relationship between ESPN and WWE has been going so far.
“It’s gone great so far. We’re very familiar with Nick Khan and the team over there. We’ve had engagement with them for years in much smaller ways. They are fantastic to work with. They really hustle on behalf of their property. Those appearances don’t just happen unless you have a league to make those people available. The superstars are highly engaged in promoting themselves, the broader WWE, and their stories. It’s been really good so far. We’re looking forward to WrestleMania this year, which would be our first. We’ve had two PLEs to date, one was in the Middle East, so it was on an off-hour. Wrestlepalooza was new. Survivor Series this weekend is going to be a really good measuring stick for how it’s going. In terms of the interaction between the team at WWE and us, it’s been great.”

Chelsea Green Comments on Why She’s So Proud of WWE Selling Her Hat as Replica Merch
WWE recently started selling replica Chelsea Green signature hats on their WWEShop online store. Green recently responded on social media about how proud she was of her replica hats being variable for sale for fans and how it was a “two year labor of love” on her end to make it happen.
Adrian Hernandez held a recent interview with Green. One of the topics discussed included Green’s thoughts about her replica hat going on sale and if she pitched for the merchandise to be sold.
“Oh, it was pitched. In the past three years, every Friday, I pitched that hat every single Friday. I found out who to pitch it to. Then I found out who the buyers were. Then I found out where they were buying. Then I found out why they couldn’t get the hats made. Then I found out how to make the hats more of a reasonable price for my fans. Like I have literally been a long time, for the entire ride of these hats. That’s why it means so much to me to put them out. I’m not joking when I say that that might be the best accomplishment I have in WWE or in my wrestling career. Cause at the end of the day, I made that happen. These, I didn’t make happen necessarily. I worked my ass off, but at the end of the day, someone decides these things, right? Like that hat, I did everything to make sure that hat went on sale and it went on sale for $34.99 and it went on sale this year. Like it is, I’m so proud of it. I’m so proud of it because I know that little girls and boys are going to go up. They’re going to look at that wall of merch and they’re going to see that sparkly hat and they’re going to choose that over a Yeet shirt.”

CM Punk Says Women’s WarGames Match Should Main Event Survivor Series WarGames 2025
A recent episode of the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams podcast featured CM Punk as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Punk’s thoughts about his belief that the Women’s WarGames match should main event WWE’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event in San Diego, California.
“I’m a little biased. My wife is obviously in that match and I’m excited to watch it. I think the women should be the main event, selfishly. I do probably think us guys will main event. There’s two titles involved in there, they’re not on the line, but star power is off the charts. But I also think the star power is off the charts when it comes to the women.
AJ Lee coming back to wrestling and being in a cage match is a big deal. She gets to punch Becky Lynch in the face, I can only imagine how good that is going to feel. IYO Sky, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, just a huge all-star, blue-eyed, babyface dream team.
It’s almost like The Breakfast Club. They have their Bender, they have their princess, they have their nerd, they have their jock, and they have their crazy goth, Rhea Ripley. I don’t know, it’s just something about that team.”
