Naomi Announces She & Jimmy Uso Are Expecting Baby Boy
As noted before, Naomi has been absent from WWE since this past August due to preganancy and maternity leave reasons. Naomi had announced her pregnancy on the August 18th episode of WWE RAW and had relinquished her WWE Women’s World Championship as a result.
Naomi provided an update earlier today on Twitter announcing that she and her husband Jimmy Uso are currently expecting the birth of a baby boy. Naomi also stated that a planned gender reveal for their new baby was cancelled due to her “dealing with a complication” issue but both her and her baby are in a stable condition.
“ITS A BOY!🥹💙. We decided to cancel our gender reveal due to me dealing with a complication. Baby and I are stable, taking it one day at a time. Thank you all for the birthday love, wishes, support and prayers. 😘”

Original Plans for WrestleMania 42 Main Event Match
As noted before, Seth Rollins has been out of action for WWE since this past October due to a shoulder injury and surgery.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE officials had originally planned for Rollins to face off against Roman Reigns in the main event for next year’s WrestleMania 42 event.
Meltzer reported that this match was planned to take place on Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 prior to those plans being dropped due to Rollins’ recent injury.
Meltzer also reported that those spoken to stated that a major tease of what the main event will now be for next year’s WrestleMania 42 event was expected to take place at WWE’s Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event. This tease was later revealed to be a show closing confrontation segment involving Reigns, WWE World Champion CM Punk, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Besides the main event for WrestleMania 42, Meltzer reported that WWE officials are also currently working on tentative plans for the main event for WrestleMania 43 in 2027 in Saudi Arabia.
