Gunther & Solo Sikoa Advances in The Last Time Is Now Tournament

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma featured two Quarterfinal Round matches for The Last Time Is Now Tournament.

This tournament will determine the official challenger for John Cena’s retirement match at the December 13th WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show.

The first match was Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes.

The second match was Solo Sikoa defeating Penta via injury stoppage.

As a result of their victories, Gunther will be facing off against Sikoa in the Semifinal Round of WWE’s The Last Time Is Now tournament.

Penta Suffers Shoulder Injury

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Penta suffering a shoulder injury.

During the Last Time Is Now Quarterfinal Round match between Penta and Solo Sikoa, Penta leaped off the barricade for a hurricanrana to Sikoa but landed hard on his shoulder. This led to the referee and a medic checking on Penta and calling off the match due to Penta not being able to continue. Sikoa was awarded the victory as a result and advances to the Semifinal Round in The Last Time Is Now Tournament.

Mini Cena Makes Surprise Appearance & Gets Beaten Up By Dominik Mysterio

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured a mini John Cena making a surprise appearance.

During the show, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio came out to the ring and talked about how he will put an end to John Cena’s retirement tour and on Saturday he will embarrass Cena in his home town and take back his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Mysterio continued stating at Survivor Series, he will continue to be the greatest Mysterio of all time and it doesn’t even matter if they cheer for John Cena or not. Mysterio stated that Cena isn’t here and doesn’t blame him for not wanting to come to this dump.

This led to Cena’s music playing but instead of Cena coming out, a mini John Cena came out instead as Mysterio started laughing over fooling the crowd and seeing a small version of Cena walking towards him.

After mini Cena got into the ring, Mysterio stated he’ll save his energy and let Cena walk away because he has no idea what’s coming for him at Survivor Series. Mini Cena responded back insulting Mysterio and Mysterio whispered into his ear telling him to play by the script. Mini Cena refused the advice and continued his trash talk directed at Mysterio which led to Mysterio attacking mini Cena in return and laid him out. This led to Rey Mysterio coming out being super late to save mini Cena but chased Dominik out of the ring.
