Zoey Stark ACL, MCL, & Meniscus Injuries & Potential Return Plans Update, Backstage Update on Giulia’s WWE Women’s U.S. Title Loss at 11/7 WWE SmackDown Show,

As noted before, Zoey Stark has been out of action for WWE since this past May due to ACL, MCL, and meniscus injuries and surgery.

Bodyslam.net reported that their sources stated that Zoey Stark is currently aiming for a mid-2026 date for her in-ring return to WWE.

It was reported that WWE officials are still very high on Stark and there have been talks about potential plans to bring her back as a babyface.

Backstage Update on Giulia’s WWE Women’s U.S. Title Loss at 11/7 WWE SmackDown Show

As noted before, this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Greenville, South Carolina featured Chelsea Green defeating Giulia to become the new WWE Women’s United States Champion. This match was notable for Giulia losing in a very quick manner that was under two minutes in length.

Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that WWE officials had plans several weeks ago for Giulia to enter the Women’s main event scene. Hays speculated that this could have been the reason for the decision to have Giulia lose the way she did to Green in order to elevate her status and free her up from the Women’s mid-card scene on SmackDown.

In regards to WWE’s poor handling of the Women’s United States Championship since its debut, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that WWE officials never had any real plans nor cared about the title. Sapp reported that the only reason why WWE introduced the title was due to Green and Michin having a great feud going on at the time without a title on the line. WWE officials reportedly added the new title without having any “significant creative plans” for it.
