Final AEW Continental Classic 2025 Standings & Results

Thursday’s taped AEW Christmas Collision show featured six Continental Classic League matches, three for the Gold League and three for the Blue League.

In regards to the Gold League, the first match was Kyle Fletcher defeating Jungle Jack Perry.

The second match was Kevin Knight drew PAC via 10-minute time limit draw.

The third match was Kazuchika Okada defeated “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

As a result of the final set of group matches, Fletcher emerged as the winner and Okada as the runner-up of this year’s Gold League.

In regards to the Blue League, the first match was Konosuke Takeshita defeating Mascara Dorada.

The second match was Roderick Strong defeating Claudio Castagnoli.

The third match was Jon Moxley defeating Orange Cassidy.

As a result of the final set of group matches, Takeshita emerged as the winner and Moxley as the runner-up of this year’s Blue League.

Fletcher will be facing off against Moxley and Takeshita will be facing off against Okada in the Semifinal Round of this year’s Continental Classic tournament.

Bang Bang Gang vs. FTR in Chicago Street Fight Match for AEW World Tag Titles Announced for AEW Worlds End 2025

Thursday’s taped AEW Christmas Collision show also featured the first of four new matches announced for the card of Worlds End 2025.

This new match announced was an AEW World Tag Team Championship Chicago Street Fight match of Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (c).

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between the two teams and Bang Bang Gang issuing a challenge to FTR for a Chicago Street Fight match for their titles at Worlds End. During the show, Stokely Hathaway accepted Bang Bang Gang’s challenge on behalf of FTR. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.


Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd Announced for AEW Worlds End 2025

Thursday’s taped AEW Christmas Collision show also featured the second of four new matches announced for the card of Worlds End 2025.

This new match announced was a singles match of Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd.

This new match was setup over recent months shows over Allin’s bad blood issues with Kidd and the Death Riders and Kidd issuing a challenge to Allin at the Dynamite On 34th Street 2024 show. During tonight’s show, Kidd came out from the crowd and went into the ring giving a promo mocking Allin and claimed he put Allin in the hospital again. This led to the lights going out and when it came back on, Allin was seen standing in the middle of the ring. Kidd gave a laugh in response only for Allin to reveal he had Sting’s bat underneath his comfy jacket and swung at Kidd, who quickly escaped out of the ring. Allin grabbed the microphone and accepted Kidd’s challenge for Worlds End. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.


Sisters of Sin vs. Hyan & Maya World Announced for AEW Worlds End 2025 Zero Hour

Saturday’s AEW Christmas Collision show also featured another two new matches announced for the card of Worlds End 2025, which takes place on December 27th at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

The first new match announced was a tag team match of Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue & Julia Hart) vs. Hyan & Maya World. It was announced that this match will be taking place at Worlds End’s Zero Hour pre-show.

The second new match announced was a Mixed Nuts Mayhem match of Death Riders (Marina Shafir, PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm & The Conglomeration (Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy, & Mark Briscoe).

Kyle O’Reilly Reveals Injuries He Suffered by Jon Moxley

Thursday’s taped AEW Christmas Collision show also featured Kyle O’Reilly providing an update on the “injuries” he suffered at the hands of Jon Moxley after their No Holds Barred match at this past November’s Full Gear 2025 event.

During the show, Roderick Strong was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette about his upcoming final group match against Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic. Paquette stated that someone wanted to talk to him, which led to O’Reilly showing up and proceeded to give a pep talk to Strong ahead of his match and the importance for him to end his tournament run with a victory.

This was O’Reilly’s first appearance since this past November’s Full Gear 2025 event.
