As noted before, Will Ospreay has been out of action for AEW since this past August’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event due to a neck injury and surgery.
Metro held a recent interview with Ospreay’s life partner and AEW talent Alex Windsor. One of the topics discussed included Windsor providing an update on Ospreay’s recovery from his neck injury and surgery.
“Of course, it has been a struggle for him, but he’s doing so well. It’s no surprise, you know, but he’s absolutely smashing it,’ she smiled. ‘I personally [think] he’ll be back better than ever. I have no doubt about it in my mind.”
Windsor also gave her thoughts about how she often gets more worried about Ospreay’s safety in the ring rather than her own.
“I don’t feel like I have half as much like angst about myself as I do when I’m watching Will do his stuff,’ she laughed. ‘I can’t ask him to maybe do something a bit less crazy. I just have to say, “Well, I hope you’d be all right afterwards.”
