As noted before, Anna Jay’s contract with AEW is currently believed to be expiring within the upcoming months. Jay is currently believed to be staying in AEW with her working relationship with Tay Melo being a significant factor in her plans for her career future.
Fightsul Select reported that their sources stated Jay’s contract is not expiring as soon as they had expected and instead it is currently set to expire within the next six months and possibly during Spring of 2026.
Those spoken to close to Jay reportedly had believed that her contract would be up by 2026 but that is not the case anymore. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that Jay is currently actively exploring other options and she does have connections within WWE and their NXT brand.
It was reported that people became aware of her contract situation after Jay was hoping to get involved in the first-ever Women’s Blood & Guts match this past November, which did not happen in the end for her.
Jay last appeared for AEW on the November 19th episode of AEW Collision and has been signed with AEW since April of 2020.
