Leon Slater Pulled From RevPro and wXw Events This Weekend

Revolution Pro Wrestling announced at their RevPro Live in London event on Sunday that they have pulled TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater from their upcoming Uprising 2025 event on December 14th in Cardiff, Wales. Slater had been originally scheduled to compete in a Three-way match for the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.

RevPro provided an update earlier today announcing that the previously announced three-way match of Slater vs. Jay Joshua vs. Sha Samuels for the Undisputed British Heavyweight title will now be just Joshua vs. Samuels for the title at their upcoming event.

Besides RevPro, Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) also recently announced that they have also pulled Slater from their upcoming 25th Anniversary event on December 13th in Oberhausen, Germany.

“Leon Slater has informed us that he will unfortunately no longer be available for #wXwAnniversary on Saturday. We are working on a solution for his announced match.”

Slater’s removal from these upcoming indies events quickly lead to online speculation of him being booked for WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show on December 13th in Washington, D.C. Besides featuring John Cena’s retirement match, WWE’s upcoming show will also be featuring exhibition matches between NXT talent and main roster talent. Slater is also speculated to potentially be teaming up with Je’Von Evans for a tag team match at this upcoming show.
