Saturday’s AEW Worlds End 2025 event at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois featured MJF defeating Swerve Strickland, Hangman Adam Page, and Samoa Joe in a Four-way match to become the new AEW World Champion.
Following the match, a happy MJF celebrated with his newly won title and went up to a camera telling those upset to “cry about it all you want” because he’s a “generational talent, a two-time champion, and he’s better than you know and you f*cking know it.” Bryan Danielson on commentary brought up how insufferable MJF was during his first AEW World title reign and stated he can’t imagine what he will be like this time around.
