No Backstage Heat on Paul Heyman After Fan Shoving Incident After WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 Event

Paul Heyman was involved in a fan incident following this past Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event in San Diego, California. Following the end of the main event Men’s WarGames match and show, a video was released on social media showing Heyman and Logan Paul walking their way to the backstage surrounded by security. As they were walking, a young fan approached Heyman only for Heyman to shove him away and continued walking to the back with Paul.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources within WWE stated that there was no real heat on Heyman for pushing the child out hsi way after the event.

Sapp reported that WWE officials blamed security for allowing anyone to get to Heyman in the first place.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within WWE stated that the intial camera angle of the footage being shared did not tell the entire story.

Johnson reported that additional footage of the incident was posted on social media that showed the young fan had made his way around several members of security and pushed past them to get near Heyman. This new footage showed one of the security officials physically pulling the fan away at the same time Heyman had grabbed and moved the fan away.

Johnson reported that one source spoken to stated that the blame should fall on the security for failing to prevent the fan from getting around them. This same source reportedly also stated that Heyman was put in a “no-win situation” where he has to react in real-time as he was trying to return backstage.
