As noted before, TNA Wrestling announced earlier this week that they signed a new multi-year television deal with cable television network AMC that goes into effect on January 15, 2026.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that one source within WWE stated that TNA officials currently would like to have AJ Styles make an appearance and wrestle at their Impact! premiere show on AMC.
Meltzer reported that this would make sense to do to deliver a strong rating for TNA’s debut show on AMC and Styles himself has said in the past that he would like to do a match again in TNA. Meltzer also reported that the final decision would be up to WWE to approve or not. WWE had allowed Styles to make an appearance at TNA’s Slammiversary 2025 show this past July but did not allow him to wrestle on the show.
