Sting Comments on Him Retiring His Facepaint Wearing at Autograph Conventions
As noted before, 2025 will be the final year that wrestling legend and former AEW wrestler Sting will be making appearances at conventions dressed up in his full Sting gear and face paint.
Saturday’s WrestleVerse Fest convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was the final event of Sting’s 2025 Now Or Never tour.
Following the event, Denise Salcedo held an interview with Sting who gave his thoughts about his final convention event wearing his iconic facepaint.
“I feel completely normal. This is just another gig for me. But, you have people like my daughter, for example, who’s sending these emojis on the phone, the crying emojis. ‘Dad, this is your last one ever.’ Then all my buddies and all my friends coming here and being a part of this. Is it those kind of moments because everyone’s feeding it, where it’s like this strong undercurrent of ‘Wow, this is the end. This really is it.’ I don’t know how to sum it up in into words, but the undercurrent is definitely there. Bittersweet for sure.
I’ll be glad to get off the airplanes and trains and automobiles, but I will miss the people for sure. Not just the roar of the crowd wrestling, but these meet and greets, the one-on-ones, and the story time telling. It’s amazing to hear everything that fans have to say. They’re just so appreciative and grateful, and so am I.”
Sting also revealed that he will still be appearing in AEW from time to time.
“I just want to say thank you. I love you, all of you. I do believe that we’ve had a love affair going on for many decades now, and I will miss all of you for sure. But there will be little bits and pieces with AEW I’m sure down the road.”

Mike Santana Comments on TNA’s New TV Deal with AMC
Sports Jedi Network held a recent interview with Mike Santana. One of the topics discussed included Santana’s thoughts about TNA Wrestling new television deal with AMC and TNA Impact! upcoming debut on the network.
“It was- I mean it was more of a- finally, the work paid off, and it’s going to pay off. Finally more people are going to get to see the hard work and dedication that goes into TNA and that TNA brings to the table. I’ve always said TNA for a long time has been like a hidden gem, right, and a lot of people didn’t have access to it because it’s not available on a major channel or this or that. There’s always been something, but now there’s no excuse. Now there’s no, there’s nothing stopping us other than ourselves, right? I think we’re going into an amazing time and an amazing era, and the fact that more people are going to be able to see everything is, is insane.”
