Deonna Purrazzo Comments on Her ROH Women’s Pure Title Victory at ROH Final Battle 2025

As noted before, Friday’s ROH Final Battle 2025 event in Columbus, Ohio featured Deonna Purrazzo defeating Billie Starkz in the Finals of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament to be crowed the inaugural champion.

Following the show, ROH released a digital exclusive backstage video featuring Purrazzo reflecting on her ten year journey to become the first ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion.

“Ring of Honor has been my home in some way, shape, or form for the last 10 years. It gave me a place to grow infront of all your eyes, it gave me a place to fail, to learn, to win, to lose, but most importantly it taught me how to fight. To fight for what I wanted because I wanted women back in Ring of Honor desperately.

The girls that I started this division with 10 years ago, we could’ve never fathomed there would be a ROH Women’s Pure Championship, let alone also a Women’s World Championship. And now, I have outlasted them all.”
