Chad Gable Shoulder Injury & Potential Return Plans Update

As noted before, Chad Gable has been out of action for WWE since this past June due to a torn rotator injury and surgery.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that some within WWE currently expect Gable to make his return from injury as early as next week’s WWE RAW Netflix one-year anniversary show on January 5, 2026.

Johnson reported that Gable had spent several days at WWE’s Performance Center last month preparing for his upcoming return.

Fightful Select reported that their sources also confirmed that WWE officials currently expect Gable to return soon and in time for next month’s Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia.


Shanya Baszler Comments on Her Guest Coaching Role in NXT & Wrestling Career Future

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Shayna Baszler as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Baszler’s thoughts about her current behind-the-scenes guest coaching role in WWE’s NXT brand.

“When I got the call about being released, I also got a call that, ‘You know, take some time. But, if you’re still interested in keeping on doing that, we’re open to that idea.’ I’m hoping. If I don’t suck too bad at the guest part of it then hopefully…”

Baszler also gave her thoughts about the future of her in-ring wrestling career.

“I mean, never say never in this business… Weirder things have happened. If I get over with something crazy on the indies or something and I get an offer…”

Jey Uso Comments on The Usos Winning WWE World Tag Titles on 12/29 WWE RAW Show

As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Orlando, Florida featured The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) defeating AJ Styles & Dragon Lee to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. This was the 9th time that The Usos won a World Tag Team title in their WWE careers.

Following the show, Jey Uso reflected on Instagram posting a photo of him and Jimmy with their newly won title belts and the caption of “..I know ya’ll mad..”
