Jesse Ventura Appearance Reportedly Set for Dec. 13th WWE SNME Show
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura was noticeably absent from the November 1st episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event due to issues related to his commentary being critical of the booking of the Steel Cage match at the May 5th show and WWE’s original plans for the show involving Hulk Hogan prior to his passing.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that Ventura is currently scheduled to make a return appearance at this Saturday’s SNME show in Washington, D.C.
After not appearing at the last Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura is set for Washington, D.C. this weekend as the big John Cena send-off show approaches.

John Cena Comments on “What Was Special About Winning The IC Title Is Losing It The Way I Did”
A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured John Cena as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cena’s thoughts about him getting to work with Dominik Mysterio and his belief about what made his WWE Intercontinental Championship victory special was the way he lost the title to Mysterio at Survivor Series WarGames 2025 event.
“What is special about that is I was able to work with Dom Mysterio three of my last four matches. And, gosh, that was really special. And honestly, the most special thing about winning it was being able to lose it how I did. That was really cool. I got to experiment with the US title and create an open challenge. And before that, I got to experiment with the US title and turn it into a spinner Bell. Turn it into a spinner belt. Twice, I was given what we in the company view as a secondary achievement, and was relentless in making it a primary objective. The guy on his way out. I said something in passing I’m like, that late IC title run just like Stone Cold had. You don’t touch that stuff at the end. You’re a champion. You’re of this pedigree. You don’t mess around with secondary objectives. In Boston, I made it mean something, and it did. It’s a nice it’s a nice win, and then the person who had it before me certainly gave value to it, but him beating me again for it, and now having it gives him even more value.”

Lilian Garcia Comments on Feeling “Excited” & “Nervous” To Ring Announce John Cena’s Last Match
TV Insider held a recent interview with WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia. One of the topics discussed included Garcia’s thoughts about her getting to announce the ring introduction for John Cena’s retirement match at WWE’s upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show on December 13th.
“I cannot wait. When I found out his final match was going to be during Saturday Night’s Main Event, I was like, ‘That’s the show I announce!’ It’s actually kind of fitting because I announced him even before he was John Cena. He was ‘The Prototype.’ It was a live event. I’ll never forget it. I hadn’t seen him backstage yet. The crew explained to me that he is this new guy and gave me all his stats. I just remember as soon as I said ‘The Prototype,’ and he came through the curtain, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s a look.’ He came off special right from the beginning. Watching his whole journey, being a part of it, being able to call so many of his matches along the years. It has been incredible. From SummerSlam to WrestleMania, and now the pinnacle of it to be here, his final match. It’s absolutely incredible. And the fact I’m back in WWE, it’s just so awesome.”
Garcia also gave her thoughts about if she feels nervous about the upcoming moment.
“For sure. It has been exciting. Am I nervous about this? Of course, you get nervous. I always say nerves are a good thing because it means you care. Nerves and excitement actually create the same energy. It’s about turning those nerves into excitement. I’m very excited. I’m going to do everything I can to put everything into that announcement. Just really solidify the fact that he is the ‘Greatest of All Time.’ He is an icon. I’ve been amazed at everything he has been able to accomplish and his legacy.”
