WWE reportedly currently has plans in place to make another change for their commentary teams for their RAW and SmackDown brands in 2026, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE will be swapping around their current commentary teams with SmackDown’s Michael Cole and Corey Graves to become the new commentary team for RAW starting with the January 5, 3036 episode. Johnson reported that RAW’s Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will become the new commentary team for SmackDown starting with the January 2, 2026 episode. This upcoming SmackDown show will also be SmackDown’s official return as a weekly three-hour show.
For the majority of 2025, WWE has used their current commentary teams for their RAW and SmackDown brands while Cole and Barrett have been the commentary team for WWE Premium Live Events (PLEs).
