Several Big NXT Call-ups Reportedly Expected for Main Roster Soon
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that his sources stated that several big name NXT talents are currently expected to be called up to WWE’s main roster in the “next month or so.”
Alvarez reported that most of the names currently being discussed by WWE officials are deserving of it and that it is about time they were called up to the main roster.
Among the names speculated as potential favorites for upcoming call-ups includes Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace, Tony D’Angelo, and current NXT Champion Ricky Saints.
WWE Reportedly in Talks For MLB Crossover Collaboration
WrestleVotes Radio reported that their sources stated that WWE officials are currently working on a new promotional sports crossover for the company.
It was reported that those spoken to stated that a licensing agreement between WWE and Major League Baseball team San Fransisco Giants is currently in the works for Jimmy Uso.
This new licensing agreement reportedly would include some crossover merchandise for Uso. WWE has done similar crossover sports teams collaborations with their Superstars in the past.
It was reported that this new crossover could be integrated into Uso’s ring gear as well.
It was also reported that while the working relationship still exists, WWE held off on the deal due to Survivor Series WarGames 2025 being held at Petco Park in San Diego, which is the home of the San Diego Padres and rivals of the Giants in MLB.
John Cena wore San Diego Padres inspired gear for his WWE Intercontinental Championship match against Dominik Mysterio at the event.
Nick Khan Comments on His Level of Involvement in WWE Creative & Triple H’s Handling of WWE Creative
A recent episode of the ImPaulsive podcast featured WWE President Nick Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about his level of involvement in WWE’s creative and working together with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
“The only times I’ll get involved (in creative) is if he calls and asks for my point of view on something, or if I really feel strongly about it. Just as if he really feels strongly about something on the business side, I want him to call me.”
Khan also gave his thoughts about how frequently he and Triple H communicate with each other for work.
“I’ll talk to Paul [Levesque] three to five times a day, which is a lot. He’s been a phenomenal partner and I love where creative has gone. It’s Paul’s vision being executed by folks like (Logan Paul).”
Khan also gave his thoughts about the future of WWE’s business and his belief that the company will keep on growing as long as fresh talents keep coming up and the veteran talents earn their status.
“As long as we have a pipeline of young fresh talent, and we have the folks that have earned their senior status; Roman, Seth who’s injured, Cody, Randy, those folks where the young folks can be under their tutelage, I think we got a great shot to have the business continue to soar and grow year over year.”
