Pre-show Arrivals

Live in the arena, we see Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss backstage and we see Kairi Sane and Asuka walking backstage. The camera cuts to LA Knight entering the arena and to Gunther walking in the arena.

Backstage: Nick Aldis, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre walks out of a white truck and Nick Aldis stops him with security. They argue and Drew says he won at War Games, he’s not suspended. Aldis tells him he is still suspended and to leave. Drew says he will leave but not for Aldis, for the security because he doesn’t want to hurt them. He gets in the car but in comes Cody Rhodes from the passenger side and he hits Drew, raking him in the eyes. WWE security breaks it up and they hold Cody off as Drew drives away.

In-Ring: Cody Rhodes

Cody leaves and walks towards the ring as his music plays. Cody tells Aldis that he needs him to reinstate Drew McIntyre. He says that Drew broke an unwritten rule of this sport when he broke into his truck where his wife sleeps and his kids sleep. He says Drew is WWE’s resident cockroach. The fans chant “Cody” and he says what just happened might have been in a parking lot, in a Church, in Drew’s house, California or all over the lone star state. But it should be in a WWE ring. He tells Drew that Drew has not beaten him but he might be the only man to break him. Cody says he will stomp him out and he throws the microphone as Cody’s music plays.

Backstage: DIY, Candice LeRae, Carmelo Hayes

We cut to the back and DIY have Axiom’s mask. Ciampa says he wants his title shot. Carmelo Hayes walks in front of them and he tells Ciampa he might want to reschedule that because he has next.

Video: Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley

Back from commercial, a Damian Priest video promo airs. He says that Aleister Black attacked him and brought his wife Zelina by his side. But he has Rhea Ripley by his side. Rhea tells Damian and Zelina that they poked the bear and she is there with him. Rhea says that next week, it’s her and Damian against Aleister Black and Zelina.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Hayes with a head lock but Ilja throws him to the ropes. Ilja with a shoulder tackle followed by a chop to the chest. Hayes throws Ilja in the corner and Hayes with chops to the chest. Hayes throws Ilja to the ropes but Ilja with a boot to the ace. Ilja to the ropes but Hayes with a kick and Ilja falls onto the ring apron. Hayes goes for a splash but Ilja with a chop to the chest. Ilja gets in the ring and he lands a boot to the face. Ilja climbs the top rope but Hayes gets to his feet and he throws Ilja down onto the mat. Hayes climbs the second rope but Ilja gets to his feet and he hits Hayes with a right hand. Ilja with a running kick to the face and Hayes falls to the outside of the ring.

Back from commercial, Ilja with a German suplex. He lifts Hayes up but Hayes lands on his feet. Hayes with a chop but Ilja with a right hand. Hayes with a knee to the face but Ilja with a boot to the face. Ilja goes for the Constantine Special but Hayes ducks and Hayes with a springboard clothesline. Hayes with a face buster and he goes for the cover but Ilja kicks out. Hayes goes for the First 48 but Ilja catches him and lands a powerbomb. Ilja goes for the H-Bomb but Hayes gets his knees up. Hayes goes for the cover but Ilja kicks out. Ilja gets up and he lands a kick to the side of the head. Ilja climbs the top rope but Hayes gets up and kicks Ilja and Ilja falls to the outside of the ring. Ilja gets back on the ring apron and Hayes jumps over the top rope and DDT’s Ilja onto the ring apron. He throws Ilja into the barricade and back into the ring. Hayes climbs the top rope and with the referee distracted, out comes Ciampa who trips Hayes up. Ilja with the Tornado Moscow and the H-Bomb. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov via Pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship.

After the match, Ilja sees the replay and he’s angry that Ciampa got involved.

Backstage: Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss

We cut to the back and Cathy Kelley is with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Flair tells her that she joined War Games because Alexa needed her, she means a lot to Alexa. She says Alexa would be lost without her. Bliss says they are proud of Flair, War Games was good for her. Flair says they are back to wanting to win the Tag Team Championships.

Backstage: LA Knight

We cut to Cathy Kelley who is backstage with LA Knight. He tells her that he doesn’t want to repeat himself too much but he said it before. As far as dream opponents, he doesn’t care. But if he beats John Cena, he cements his legacy but there is one person standing in his way. He says the last time is now for him and Gunther. He says Gunther is a former Intercontinental and former World champion. But he is an unstoppable force, something Gunther has never seen before and something he is not ready for. He says if Gunther wants a fight, he will ride. He will get dropped on his head like all the rest with everybody saying, LA Knight, yeah. LA Knight walks away and we cut to the ring.

Kairi Sane vs. Alexa Bliss

The bell rings and we are under way. Sane gets Bliss in the corner and hits her with right hands. Sane to the ropes and she goes for a sunset flip cover but Bliss reverses it and Sane kicks out. Sane with a slap to the face. Sane taps Blis on the head and Bliss slaps her. Bliss trips Sane up and lands a senton. Sane rolls to the outside of the ring. Bliss gets on the ring apron and the referee is distracted by Sane as Asuka trips Bliss up. Sane throws Bliss into the barricade.

Back from commercial, Sane is on the top rope but Bliss with right hands. Bliss climbs the second rope but Sane with right hands and Bliss is in a tree of woe. Sane with a double stomp. She goes for the cover but Bliss kicks out. Sane goes for a sliding elbow but Bliss moves out of the way and Sane hits the bottom turnbuckle. Sane with right hands and a drop kick. Sane to the ropes and she lands the Natural Selection. Sane goes for Sister Abigail but Asuka gets on the ring apron and that distracts Bliss. Sane goes for the cover but Bliss kicks out. Flair trips Asuka up and hits her with a big boot. Sane with a right hand onto Bliss. She climbs the top rope and goes for the InSane elbow but Bliss gets on her feet and catches her. She hits her with Sister Abigail. Bliss goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Alexa Bliss via Pinfall.

Out come Nia Jax and Lash Legend and they hit Flair and Bliss from behind. Legend with a right hand onto Alexa and Nia with a Samoan drop onto Flair. Sane is down in the corner but in comes Asuka from behind. She hits Nia with a back hand and Asuka with a back hand and kicks onto Legend. Asuka runs towards Nia but Nia slams her down. Sane jumps onto Nia’s back but Nia throws her onto the mat. She gets up and Lash with a big boot onto Sane. Nia climbs the second rope but Asuka grabs Sane to the outside of the ring. Nia and Lash Legend hold up the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Backstage: Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes, Oba Femi, Ricky Saints

We cut to the back and Nick Aldis is with Cody Rhodes. Aldis asks Cody if he is ready to do this and he says he is. They walk into Nick’s office and Oba Femi is there with Ricky Saints. They ask Nick why they are in his office. Nick says all will be revealed, just not by him. Cody shakes their hands. Cody says next week at Saturday Night’s Main Event, who ever wins tomorrow at NXT Deadline, will wrestle him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cody tells them good luck and walks away.

Backstage: Nia Jax, Lash Legend

Back from commercial, Nia Jax and Lash Legend are backstage. Cathy asks them if their attack was necessary. Nia says they deserved it. Lash says that they are coming after the Women’s Tag Team Championships and there is nothing any of the teams can do about it.

Jade Cargill vs. Alba Fyre

The bell rings and we are under way. Green is on the ring apron with her two Championships and she is talking to Jade. Alba with a drop kick and right hands. Alba lands a hurricanrana. She goes for a tornado DDT but Jade pushes her away. Alba lands on her feet and she hits Jade with a right hand. Jade leans onto the second rope and Green with a right hand with the referee distracted. Out come Giulia and Kiana James. Giulia with right hands onto Chelsea. That distracts Alba. She turns around and Jade with a spine buster followed by a big kick. Jade with Jaded. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Jade Cargill via Pinfall.

Backstage: Fraxiom, Ilja Dragunov, Solo Sikoa, The MFTs

We cut to the back and Fraxiom are with Nick Aldis. They tell Aldis that they cannot stand DIY and they ask for a match against them. Axiom says he stole his mask but in comes Ilja Dragunov. He says if that jackass is begging for attention, he has it. He tells Aldis that he wants the match. Aldis makes the match for next week and Ilja says after he has him, Fraxiom can have what is left of him. Dragunov turns around and he is face to face with the MFTs. Solo tells them to walk away.

Backstage: Jade Cargill, B-Fab, Michin

Back from commercial, Jade is walking backstage and she walks passed B-Fab. She tells B-Fab that she saw what she did to Alba and asks her if it reminds her of something. In comes Mi Chin with a kendo stick. Jade calls Mi Chin a lap dog but Mi Chin says she is B-Fab’s friend. Jade says she will talk to Nick Aldis and that Mi Chin will step up and get stepped on.

In-Ring: Solo Sikoa, The MFTs

Solo Sikoa’s music hits and out comes Solo and the MFTs.

Solo says he told everyone that they were going to handle the Sami Zayn problem and that is what they did. He says he and his family can finally move forward which brings him to the Wyatt Sicks and Uncle Howdy. He says they have been watching the Wyatt’s too. He says his name is Solo Sikoa, this is his ring, this is his show and this is his family tree. He says Uncle Howdy’s family has something that belongs to his family, the Tag Team titles. He says you hurt him and his family is going to hurt Uncle Howdy. He tells Uncle Howdy everything that was Bray’s and Solo points to the sky. He says that is now Uncle Howdy’s, that will become his. He says he will take everything away from him, everything that he loves, all the memories and he will show everyone that he does not deserve the name Wyatt. Solo says he will take it away because he can. All he has to do is Bo-Lieve. Solo throws the microphone and his music hits as the MFTs leave the ring.

The lights go out in the arena and when they come back, Solo is alone in the ring and the Wyatt’s are on the ring apron. He turns around and he is face to face with Uncle Howdy. The MFTs get on the ring apron. Wyatt with a right hand and Solo with a right hand. Both teams get in the ring and begin to fight. Talla Tonga and Rowan are in the ring face to face. Both men with right hands and Talla with a big boot onto Rowan but Rowan with a big boot onto Talla and Talla falls to the outside of the ring. Solo holds the MFTs back.

Backstage: Nick Aldis, The Miz, Bayley, Sol Ruca

We cut backstage and Miz is with Nick Aldis. Miz says he beat John Cena at WrestleMania and he should be Cena’s final opponent. Aldis says he’s not even on the show. He says not just anyone can be booked on Saturday Night’s Main Event. In comes Bayley who thanks Aldis for being booked on Saturday Night’s Main Event. Miz says unbelievable and walks away. Aldis says her match is against someone from NXT and the door knocks. In comes Sol Ruca and Aldis walks away. Bayley says things are different on Raw and SmackDown. Sol Ruca says she knows.

Backstage: Gunther

We cut to Cathy Kelley with Gunther. He tells her that it does not matter where you live, what language you speak. The name Ring General Gunther, translates to victory. He says he will beat LA Knight and he will beat John Cena in his final match. And he is aware there is a whole locker room of passionate and hungry superstars but his condolences to them because this tournament is a foregone conclusion. He tells Cena they know that they cannot see Cena but he is certain that Cena can see him. He wants Cena to watch and pay attention, not to the fact that he will beat LA Knight but to how he will beat LA Knight.

LA Knight vs. Gunther

The bell rings and we are under way. Gunther pushes LA Knight but LA Knight with right hands. Gunther with a chop to the chest and he goes for a powerbomb but LA Knight with a back body drop. LA Knight goes for BFT but Gunther rolls to the outside of the ring. LA Knight with a baseball slide.

Back from commercial, Gunther with right hands but LA Knight trips Gunther. He goes for an elbow but Gunther moves out of the way. Gunther slams LA Knight into the turnbuckle. Gunther with an arm bar followed by a chop to the chest. Gunther goes for another chop but LA Knight ducks and LA Knight with a flying clothesline. A neck breaker by LA Knight and he goes for BFT but Gunther grabs him. Gunther with a waist lock but LA Knight with elbows to the face. LA Knight rolls Gunther up but Gunther kicks out. He reverses it into a sleeper but LA Knight reverses that into a cover but Gunther kicks out. LA Knight with the AA followed by a burning hammer. He goes for the cover but Gunther kicks out.

Back from commercial, LA Knight with chops and Gunther with chops. LA Knight with kicks in the corner followed by a running knee to the face. He goes for another running knee but Gunther gets up and goes for the sleeper but LA Knight with a back suplex. LA Knight climbs the second rope, leaps onto the third and jumps but Gunther moves out of the way. LA Knight lands on his feet, Gunther with a drop kick. He grabs LA Knight but LA Knight with a DDT. LA Knight gets on the second rope and leaps onto the third and he lands the elbow drop. He goes for the cover but Gunther kicks out. LA Knight goes for BFT but Gunther hits him with a German suplex. Gunther twists LA Knight’s neck. He grabs LA Knight and hits him with a clothesline. Gunther climbs the top rope but LA Knight gets to his feet. LA Knight with a right hand and he climbs the top rope. LA Knight goes for a superplex but Gunther pushes him down. Gunther with a splash off the top rope. Gunther climbs the top rope and he lands a splash. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Gunther with a power bomb. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Gunther goes for the sleeper but LA Knight hits him with the BFT. He goes for the cover but Gunther gets his foot on the bottom rope. LA Knight is holding his knee and Gunther gets him in the sleeper. Gunther with elbows to the face and he gets LA Knight in the sleeper. LA Knight tries to get out of it and he gets to his feet. LA Knight gets out of it but Gunther with elbows. Gunther with a modified crossface and LA Knight taps out.

Winner: Gunther via Submission.

Some fans boo as SmackDown goes off the air.
