AJ Styles Responds to Fan Saying He Should Have Finished His Career with AEW
In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, AJ Styles responded to the claim that he only decided to stay in WWE and retire in the company due to money and not leave and retire in AEW for his wrestling career.
This fan stated “Should have finished with the AEW run. He chose the wwe money.” Styles responded back stating “I’ll take dumbest things to ever have been said for 100 Alex.“

Styles has been with WWE since 2016 and had stated that 2026 would be the final year for his in-ring wrestling career.
Lance Archer Comments on Future of His Wrestling Career
Lance Archer recently reflected on Twitter about the future of his wrestling career and him currently not having any plans to retire any time soon.

AEW Worlds End 2025 Attendance
AEW reporetdly drew an attendance of 8,968 for their Worlds End 2025 event on December 28th at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s attendance for the event was up compared to their All Out 2024 event at the same venue that drew 8,660 for its attendance.
Meltzer reported that while AEW CEO Tony Khan had announced the event had gone “clean” as a sellout, a real sellout would have been around 9,065 based on the venue configuration and staging setup used had every possible seat been available for sale.
