We kick the show off with Tony Schiavone introducing the AEW World Champion, bringing up a familiarly mixed reaction for MJF as the champ makes his way to the ring.
MJF brags about the life he lives, including his hot wife and the fact he has the Triple B, before running down those who claim to be the world champion…saying the stuff coming out of their mouths is the same coming out of their ass. He says this is the year of the Devil, and ain’t nobody on his level.
Brody King seems to disagree, as he makes his way to the ring to confront the champ. He talks about not stooping to what MJF is, and that is a little b—h. This gets a chant in response as Brody talks about not putting his hands on MJF because it would cost him what he really wants, which is a shot at MJF and the title right now, tonight!
MJF offers to think this over (after complete silence, which just gets boos) before saying no, and not because he’s afraid of Brody, that’s ridiculous. These fans bark along with King and that makes sense, because it reminds of the phrase “all bark and no bite.” He says that Brody doesn’t have grounds to challenge after only facing “tomato cans, jabronis, and jobbers” and tells King he needs to beat Elite talent before he can step up to the champ or else they’re gonna have problems.
That last word trails off as King manages to intimidate the champ, forcing him to pivot as he claims he has a lot of business to deal with tonight before leaving the ring.

Samoa Joe vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey
Muscle Buster gets the win for @SamoaJoe!

The two lock up and Joe takes Speedball to the corner. Bailey fights back, using his speed to take Joe off his game with a flurry of strikes before sending the former world champion to the outside…but Joe intercepts a dive with a hard chop sending Speedball down hard! Mike is struggling as Joe brings him up to his feet, but Speedball turns it around to land an Asai moonsault! He brings Joe back into the ring as The Opps come down the ramp.
Bailey pays them little mind as he slides into the ring, only for Joe to send him over the top rope and to the floor…distracting the ref as his boys lay into Speedball with stomps before sending him back in the ring. Joe continues the attack, only to send Bailey right back out as we go to an ad break.
Back from break, Joe is still in control until Speedball dodges him in the corner, landing a dropkick for a two count. Joe fights back but is met with another kick as Bailey heads up top for a shooting star press…but it only gets a nearfall as Joe kicks out!
Joe rolls toward the apron for a breather, but Mike takes the fight to him there before breaking free of a suplex to sweep Joe’s legs out from under him. Joe lands on the apron, but dodges a knee drop from Speedball before rolling back in the ring. As the ref checks on him, Shibata gets an opening to beat down Bailey with a suplex onto the apron before sending him back into the ring for more punishment from Joe.
Joe continues to wear Speedball down, focused on the legs as he mocks Bailey. Joe lays in a few more kicks before Bailey checks in with the ref before Joe locks in a leg hook until Bailey gets to the ropes for a break.
Mike struggles to his feet as Joe goes back after him, only for Speedball to channel his inner Karate Kid for a crane kick! Shooting star knee drop gets him a two count. Bailey in the corner as he lands a spinning kick. HOOK distracts Bailey long enough to stop an Ultimate Weapon, but counters a Coquina Clutch into a nearfall of his own.
He goes back up top but is distracted by Shibata this time as the ref is dealing with HOOK, and this allows Joe to hit a Muscle Buster for the win!
Winner: Samoa Joe via Pinfall.
Joe celebrates as commentary hypes up the lineup ahead of us tonight. Up next we have a Street Fight between the Death Riders and Don Callis Family!
Trios Street Fight Match
Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, & Jon Moxley) vs. Don Callis Family (Hechicero, Rocky Romero, & Lance Archer)
BARBED WIRE, TACKS AND BROKEN GLASS HAVE ENTERED THE MATCH! pic.twitter.com/qsVyPMHX8b
— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) January 22, 2026
We head back to ringside as the Death Riders enter through the crowd. Hechicero, Lance Archer, and Rocky Romero make their way out, only for the Riders to go after them to get this Street Fight underway!
It doesn’t take long for the fight to spill into the crowd, a split screen showing that Garcia is laying into Hechicero as Mox faces off with Archer. Yuta gets taken down by Romero who gets after Garcia to no avail as we see Mox and Archer back in the ring. The Murderhawk Monster takes a series of punches in the corner from Mox as Yuta and Garcia join him in the attack. Archer starts to fight back, only to be sent over the top rope to the outside.
Yuta follows him to the outside, but takes a chokeslam by Archer sending him through the timekeeper table. Mox blindsides Archer, but is sent to the barricade as the Family take control heading into ad break.
Back from back, the Don Callis Family set up a trash can over Garcia to continue the beatdown with Mox still trying to fight back. He gets to his feet, landing forearm strikes before the Family gang up on the Continental Champion. They send Mox to the corner and prop the trashcan up against him, but he throws it at Hechicero to get back in the fight.
Jon goes at it with Archer now, only to be laid out as the Murderhawk Monster leaves the ring to grab a table from underneath. He props that against the corner as Marina Shafir stares him down, and the two go face to face before Archer looks for a chokeslam…only for Shafir to counter into an armbar! He lets go of her, and Marina holds him down allowing Mox to hit a cutter. Archer ends up on the table in the corner as Mox charges at him…but Lance counters, spinning Mox around before driving him through the table instead!
Archer is back on his feet as Garcia fancies himself a fellow hoss looking for a chokeslam, but this turns out to be a ruse as Yuta runs him down with a Busaiku knee! Hechicero and Romero slide in, going after Yuta and Garcia with abdominal stretches before the Riders turn it around on them. Archer is back up and takes them out, but Mox takes control before bringing glass into the picture. Unfortunately the old adage applies as he who sets it up must take it, and gets dropped with a chokeslam onto the glass by Archer.
Archer goes after Yuta on the outside, but is met with a crutch-aided attack by a returning PAC. Claudio joins in before they send him into an electrical setup, with sparks flying as Hechicero comes in looking to intervene. He gets taken out with a low blow by Shafir as we see Mox going after Romero with a bulldog choke.
Just as Rocky nearly breaks free, Garcia cinches in a Dragonslayer on him…and Mox puts the final nail in the coffin with a curb stomp! Romero is out cold and the ref calls for the bell!
Winner: Death Riders via Referee Stoppage.
Riders leave the ring, with Shafir holding a mic up for Mox as he tells Callis “tell your boy to come find me” before they exit through the crowd.

Back at ringside, Alec Price and Jordan Oliver make their way out for their debut after signing with AEW. Stoke runs the pair down from ringside before FTR make their entrance, and this match gets underway!
We start off with Cash and Oliver, with Wheeler quickly taking control of the match before Alec responds with a cradle for a two count. Cash is not pleased by that as he sends Jordan to the corner for some strikes of his own. Tag made to Alec Price, and FTR get sent out of the ring for a dive from their opponents. FTR retreat to the opposite side but this allows Oliver to tag back in. Dax tags in to go after him, before Price and Oliver take him off his game allowing for a nearfall by Jordan.
Dax catches Oliver with a right hand before taking out Price, and sends Jordan to the corner. Things break down as Price and Oliver go back on the attack, nearly taking Harwood down for the win before FTR respond with a Shatter Machine to take the victory.
Winner: FTR via Pinfall.

We cut backstage, where Kris Statlander and the Babes of Wrath have a response to the Triangle of Madness. Stat looks to accept the challenge of Thekla, and Willow will take on Julia to defend the TBS Title. Harley Cameron confirms that she will also be there. They’re babe they have…as Stat puts it…all the titles that the Triangle want.
With that, we get confirmation of the matches for this Saturday on Collision for the TBS Title followed by the Women’s World Championship being defended next week on Dynamite.
Kenny Omega vs. Josh Alexander
Back at ringside, Kenny Omega makes his entrance before Don Callis and Josh Alexander blindside him! Alexander continues the attack as Callis heads to commentary, but Omega turns it around to send Josh into the barricade and then the ring as this match gets underway!
Omega continues to take Josh to task, with Alexander on the apron as Omega runs for a kick…but Alexander catches him with a suplex onto the apron, slamming him onto the hardest part of the ring to regain control of the match as we go to an ad break.
Back from break, Alexander continues to lay into Omega for a cover, but Kenny gets his foot on the rope to break the pin. Josh brings him up top before sending Omega down hard for a close two count. Omega escapes the ring as Alexander follows close behind, and the fight is stopped at the spot where Alexander pulled the padding off previously…where Omega lands a snap dragon suplex sending him onto the concrete!
Kenny continues the attack before bringing Alexander back into the ring, going up top for a missile dropkick and a modified neckbreaker for a two count of his own. Omega goes for a V-Trigger but is intercepted by Alexander, who suplexes him onto the floor! Callis looks over at Kenny but is confronted by the ref as Omega slowly gets back to his feet. Alexander goes after him and the two trade strikes.
This ends with Omega slamming Josh against the announce table until Don confronts him again, only to be chased off into the crowd by Omega. Don clears out as Kenny heads back into the ring, only to be intercepted with an ankle lock by Alexander…who slams it against the ring apron before sliding back into the ring from the other side.
Omega struggles to get back onto the ring apron before Josh goes after him, eventually landing a running crossbody to the back of Kenny and sending him to the floor. He takes Omega back in the ring before checking on Callis, but gets caught with a V-Trigger when he comes back! Omega gets a two count off this, before landing a One-Winged Angel to finish the job and take the win.
Winner: Kenny Omega via Pinfall.
Omega celebrates as we see MJF watching on from the back. Omega asks for a mic to address “Uncle Don” as he talks about what Callis has had done to him over the past several months before saying in front of his new home of Orlando that he’s never felt better.
There’s not one member of Don’s family that can beat him, and stop him from winning back the World Championship. He’d love to talk Don’s ear off but he must bid him adieu, so goodnight (mwah) and goodbye (bang)!
Kenny’s music hits as he heads up the ramp.

We head to ringside as Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford make their entrance for our next match. Timeless Love Bombs head out as well, but go right after Bayne and Ford to get this match underway!
We eventually start off with Bayne and Storm, with the former world champion taking Megasus down long enough for a tag to Mina. They go after Megan but are laid out with a double clothesline, before Bayne sends Storm out with a fall away slam…and hoists Mina up to send onto her lover for good measure! Bayne firmly in control here as Toni checks on Mina on the outside, and Bayne taunts the crowd as the ref’s count continues.
Toni helps Mina to her feet, only for Bayne to send Ford over the top rope onto them! Timeless Love Bombs are down on the floor, the ref checking on them as we go to ad break.
Back from break, Megan takes Mina to the mat for a nearfall before bringing her to the corner. She stares down Storm who shouts “I hate you”…and Bayne plays up to this by taking Mina down with a German suplex. Mina manages to fight back from the corner for a missile dropkick, crawling over ot the corner for the hot tag to Storm as Ford tags in as well!
Dropkick from the former world champ, who keeps on the attack with a high boot followed by a German suplex. She lands an elbow on Bayne in the corner before charging at Ford for a hip attack. A double-team with Mina is cut off by the Megasus, only for her and Ford to get knocked to the apron for a double hip attack sending them to the floor…where Mina follows up with an assisted drop from the top turnbuckle.
With the fight back in the ring, Bayne and Ford take control as the latter is launched onto Shirakawa for a cover before Toni breaks up the pin. Toni takes out Megan as Mina lands a spinning backfist on Penelope…but a figure four leglock is stopped by a running lariat from Bayne! The pair land a Doomsday Device on Mina and Penelope gets the win as Shafir keeps Storm from getting back in the ring!
Winner: Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford via Pinfall.
Shafir flips off the crowd, showing that whatever is going on with the Death Riders hasn’t stopped her from being pals with Bayne and Ford as commentary looks ahead to the big matches for Collision and then next week…but up next is our main event, as Swerve Strickland faces Kevin Knight!

MID-AIR HOUSE CALL SPELLS THE END FOR @JET2FLYY!

We head to ringside as Swerve Strickland makes his entrance, commentary acknowledging the passing of the man known as Profit who was a producer on this and Swerve’s previous theme. Strickland notably dedicating the match to him as the former world champ enters the ring…and speaking of world champions, MJF is up in the stands watching on as Kevin Knight enters to get this match underway!
The two lock up, with Swerve taking control as he sends Knight to the corner. Strickland stays on the attack before Kevin responds by taking his opponent to the mat. Swerve responds with a single leg before hitting the ropes, only for Knight to drop him with an arm drag before transitioning into an armbar before Swerve breaks free.
He leaves the ring for a breather, only for Knight to catch him with a cross body sending the former champ to the floor. Knight brings him back in the ring for a frog splash into a cross body, before mocking Swerve by hitting the griddy. Strickland responds with a chop that sends Kevin to the outside.
Swerve follows him out of the ring, but takes a missile dropkick from the Jet as we see MJF watching on before heading to ad break.
Back from break, we see Strickland regaining control as he takes Knight down hard before doing the griddy and feigning a free throw. He goes after the legs of Knight, before Kevin fights back to his feet. Swerve calling for his opponent to give it a go on strikes, and Knight obliges before taking Strickland to the canvas!
Swerve is back up as he hits the ropes, but a jumping clothesline from the Jet takes him back down hard. Swerve evades a splash from Knight before taking him out with a Flatliner, but Kevin dodges a House Call for a splash and a cover for one. MJF still watching on as Strickland gets back up, sending Kevin to the corner before setting him up on the top turnbuckle. The two fight it out before Knight goes for a sunset flip powerbomb…and lands it after Swerve initially fights it off!
Cover by Knight after a DDT, but the former world champ kicks out. The fight heads to the apron, where Strickland takes Knight out with a Death Valley Driver onto the hardest part of the ring. Justified “this is awesome” chant as Strickland brings Knight to the barricade, looking for a piledriver…and connecting with it as Kevin ends up falling to the floor!
Swerve takes a brief pause on his way back into the ring as the ref begins the count, reaching nine and change before Knight leaps into the ring to applause from Strickland on the turnbuckle. He drops on Kevin with a 450 splash before cinching in a dragon sleeper on the Jet, who is trying his best to fight out of the hold.
Both men get to a vertical base as Swerve takes Knight to the corner. They fight on the top turnbuckle to equally justified “please be careful” chants from the crowd…as Knight takes Swerve down with a hurricanrana from the top! Coast to coast dropkick before Kevin goes back up, landing a UFO splash before making the cover…only for Strickland to get his foot on the rope to stop the pin!
Knight is back up and lands a House Call on Strickland, hoisting him onto his shoulders before Swerve fights back. Pump kicks from both men and they hit the ropes, but Swerve lands a House Call on the Jet followed by a Vertebreaker…bringing this match to an end with Big Pressure as he takes the win!
Winner: Swerve Strickland via Pinfall.
An unpleased MJF can be seen looking on from the stands as Swerve celebrates his win to bring Dynamite to a close.
