Jay White Broken Hand Injury & Return Status Update

As noted before, Jay White has been out of action for AEW since this past April due to a broken hand and shoulder injury and surgery. White made a surprise appearance at this past Sunday’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 event in Tokyo, Japan for Hiroshi Tanahashi’s in-ring wrestling career retirement ceremony.

Figthful Select reported that their sources stated that White has still yet to be medically cleared for an in-ring return and is currently not expected to be back imminently.

It was reported that AEW officials have not factored White into any creative plans at the moment.


Buddy Matthews Ankle Injury Status Update

As noted before, Buddy Matthews has been out of action for AEW since this past February’s Grand Slam Australia event due to an ankle injury and surgery.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Matthews’ injury was far worse than intially thought due to the fact Matthews had worked a full match on his injured ankle.

Sapp reported that Matthews is still working towards his recovery for an in-ring return. AEW officials reportedly had hoped at one point that Matthews could return by the end of 2025 but this did not happen in the end.


Adam Copeland Reportedly Set To Release New Memoir This October

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Adam Copeland is currently working on a new memoir.

Johnson reported that this upcoming new memoir is currently scheduled to be released this October from publisher HarperCollins.

No other details were given regarding Copeland’s new memoir.

This will be Copeland’s second memoir, following his first that was titled Adam Copeland on Edge that was released in 2004.
