In recent weeks, NXT brand talents Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Jordynne Grace have made appearances on WWE RAW and SmackDown shows while current NXT Champion Oba Femi has been teased to be appearing soon on the main roster. Williams was recently announced to have joined the SmackDown brand and Evans was announced on Monday’s WWE RAW show in Brooklyn, New York to have joined the RAW brand.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have held recent discussions regarding potential call-up plans for NXT talent Blake Monroe.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that Monroe has been under consideration for a main roster call-up and potentially to the RAW brand.
It was reported that WWE officials also held recent discussions regarding the immediate plans for Monroe on NXT could be changing and as soon as this week. This could be in reference to Monroe’s scheduled match against Thea Hail for the NXT Women’s North American Championship at this Tuesday’s NXT New Year’s Evil 2026 show and NXT officials having to change their original plans for Monroe following Hail winning the title from an unplanned botched finish.
Monroe has been signed with WWE since June of 2025 and has been working for their NXT brand.
