Current NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne has been under consideration for a potential call-up to WWE’s main roster within the near future, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that one source spoken to stated that Jayne has been recently talked about internally in WWE for a potential call-up to the main roster. It was also reported that the current belief from NXT officials is that Jayne did a good job rising to the occasion when placed in a higher-profile role in 2025.
It was also reported that WWE officials have held “semi-regular” internal discussions regarding a potential call-up for Jayne since August of 2022 after being impressed with her debut appearance on the SmackDown brand.
Those spoken to within NXT reportedly described Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship push as being a true moment for her that was either “sink or swim” for her future in the company.
Jayne joins Blake Monroe as those from NXT who have recently been under consideration for a main roster call-up while Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Lash Legend, and Jordynne Grace officially made their call-ups in recent weeks. NXT Champion Oba Femi is currently expected to make his official call-up soon.
