Several NXT & AAA Talents and Returning Star Talent Reportedly Discussed for WWE Royal Rumble Matches

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have recently discussed plans for NXT talents Sol Ruca and Lola Vice and AAA talent Mr. Iguana to be potential surprise entrants for this year’s Women’s and Men’s Royal Rumble matches at this Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia.

It was reported that WWE officials also have held internal talks for plans for Tiffany Stratton to make her return as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. This would be Stratton’s first appearance since this past November’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show.

Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that several female NXT talents were recently told that they would be participating in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Meltzer reported that the reason why these female NXT talents were told early of the plans for them at the Royal Rumble was due to special full-body gear would need to be made for them ahead of time due to Saudi Arabia’s modesty laws in regards to women’s clothing in public. Meltzer reported that these female talents would not be allowed to wear their normal gear at the event.

Other NXT talents currently expected to make an appearance at this Saturday’s Royal Rumble event are Thea Hail, Tatum Paxley, and “All Ego” Ethan Page due to all three have featured on the advertising for the event in Riyadh.
