Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Tulsa, Oklahoma featured Jon Moxley defeating Shelton Benjamin in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match. This match was notable for Benjamin coming out for his entrance looking emotional as if he was crying that quickly led to online speculation from fans that he was dealing with an unknown personal issue.

Following the show, Benjamin responded on Twitter clarifying his situation stating that he was not crying nor being emotional and instead the “tears” was just water that he pours over his head right that tends to drip down before he makes his entrance for his matches.
“Thanks for the concern Fans you are greatly appreciated but, i dont do emotional, I hurt Hurt people. However before i enter an arena i do pour water on my head that tends to drip.”
