Backstage Update on Elayna Black’s TNA Contract

As noted before, Elayna Black, former Cora Jade in WWE, made a surprise return appearance for TNA at this past Thursday’s TNA Impact! AMC premiere show in Garland, Texas.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Black had signed an official contract with TNA and will be a full-time member of their roster going forward.

It was reported that Black’s new contract with TNA is for one-year in length and goes through 2026.


Mustafa Ali Suffered Toe Injury at TNA Genesis 2026

Saturday’s TNA Genesis 2026 event in Garland, Texas featured Mustafa Ali defeating Elijah in a singles match albeit with the help of his fellow Order 4 members The Great Hands, Tasha Steelz, and Agent Zero. This match was notable for Ali smashing a guitar across Elijah’s back while the referee was distracted for the victory.

Following the match, Ali revealed on Twitter that he had suffered a gruesome toe injury during his match. Ali posted a photo of his toenail being almost coming completely off his toe and dried blood around it.


Backstage AMC Executives Reaction to Jan. 15th TNA Impact! Premiere Show

This past Thursday’s TNA Impact! show in Garland, Texas was notable for being Impact! premiere show on AMC. This show was also notable for the mostly negative online reception to the quality of the show over issues including the overbearing amount of ads that aired, general lack of in-ring wrestling, and poor production and show pacing.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that AMC executives who were on site for the show were very happy overall with how the show went down.
