Steve Maclin Comments on Him Getting The Fired Briefcase from Feast or Fired Match & Being Fired from TNA

As noted before, Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AMC and Sportsnet 360 featured Steve Maclin being revealed to have been the holder of the Fired briefcase from last week’s Feast or Fired match. Eddie Edwards, Trey Miguel, and Eric Young were revealed to be the holders of the briefcases giving them a shot at the TNA World Championship, TNA International Championship and TNA X-Division Championship respectively.

Following the show, Maclin reflected on Twitter about getting fired from TNA Wrestling due to him having the fired briefcase.

“Well, this fucking sucks. Been down this road before.

Maclin’s wife and current ROH Pure Women’s Champion Deonna Purrazzo responded on Twitter about her husband’s departure from TNA.

“The hardest worker, the humblest man.

Just shy of 5 years ago, you got a call you never expected to get. But with it came the opportunity to become everything you always wanted to be. And you DID.

You’ve always stayed true to yourself and your beliefs, and you give everything in every match to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I know you’ll do the same in the next chapter. I can’t wait to stand by your side while you do it 🤍.”
