As noted before, former WWE talent Ridge Holland, real name Luke Menzies, has been out of action from wrestling since this past September due to a lisfranc injury.
Menzies provided an update on Friday on Twitter stating that he has been fully cleared for unrestricted physical exercise for his rehab.
“As of today I’m fully cleared to return to unrestricted physical exercise after my 2 level cervical disc replacement I had 8 weeks ago…UNREAL. I just need to get these screws out of my foot next. You can call me the Bionic Yorkshireman!”

Matt Hardy Provides Update on Jeff Hardy Dealing with Bulging Disks in Neck Issues
Jeff Hardy revealed in a recent interview with the Budget Cut podcast that he has been dealing with bulging disk issues in his neck since this past October.
A recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast featured co-host Matt Hardy providing an update on the health status of his brother Jeff’s neck.
“He’s feeling better. It’s a very slow process. We’re actually going to talk to some of the doctors, and a special person is coming in to discuss the best way to ease the pain. ‘Can you manipulate the disks?’ They aren’t tripping too bad and they have gotten better. He’s been doing things that he can do. There have been some guys who have gotten procedures where they’ve shaved off part of the discs, and they continue to go, and they are okay. He has options and possibilities of what he can do. First and foremost, he would rather do it as naturally and as organically as possible. That’s what he’s working on. We’re trying to keep him working smart. In some ways, I think Jeff having this and being a little freaked out by it is going to turn him into a smarter worker, which isn’t a bad thing at his age.”

In a recent interview with the Busted Open After Dark podcast, Ryan Nemeth gave his thoughts about the pre-show jitters he felt prior to TNA’s premiere show on AMC and Bully Ray giving a surprise rallying speech to the TNA locker room during the pre-show meeting. Nemeth stated “We had a pre-show meeting as we often do. Carlos spoke, some of our executives spoke. Tommy Dreamer made a pretty emotional and historical speech going through his entire career leading up to this point. I’ll just tell tales out of school, he’s talking about the roster and saying everyone is handpicked and here for a reason, we don’t hire everybody, everybody is here for a strategic piece of the puzzle. I know that we all felt respected and honored and I started to get some goosebumps. He got a little emotional. We had a surprise speech by Bully Ray, which kind of got me fired up. Not kind of, I was massively fired up. I had, for the first time in a long time, pre-show jitters. It’s just because the stage is so big, the awareness and the platform is so huge. It feels like we’ve all put in this work for the past year to get to this point. It’s like we’re all simultaneously crossing a finish line but also entering a new race, which is much bigger of a mountain to climb.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
