Saraya Posts New Training Footage Ahead of WWE Royal Rumble 2026

Former WWE and AEW talent Saraya recently posted a video on Twitter of a recent in-ring training session she had for a potential in-ring return.

This quickly led to online speculation of Saraya possibly making her in-ring return as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at this Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Saraya last wrestled in October of 2024 for AEW and last entered a ring this past December at an event for Insane Wrestling Revolution.

Nic Nemeth Comments on Why Match Against MJF for AEW World Title Is Possible & Him Hoping To See AJ Styles in AEW or TNA After WWE Retirement

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured AEW World Champion MJF making a surprise call-in appearance and offered a match for his title to Nic Nemeth, who was the guest on the show.

Card Player held a recent interview with Nemeth. One of the topics discussed included Nemeth’s thoughts about why a match between him and MJF could take place in the future due to his current contract with TNA Wrestling allows him to do whatever he wants for his wrestling career.

“The really funny thing is, yeah, we can do it. I don’t know any inside dealings with AEW, but it seems like MJF can do what he likes. He’s now hitting like independent shows. He’s going to CMLL, he’s all over the world. And I’m allowed to do basically whatever the hell I want with TNA. So, it absolutely can be real. I’m sure he was just talking out his ass because he thinks I probably won’t do it or it probably can’t happen.

But I appreciate it because he’s got all the potential in the world to be one of the greatest of all time and so far from what I’ve watched and I’m a fan of his, but he couldn’t possibly hang in the ring with me. He’s hung around a broken-down Daniel Bryan. Okay, that was probably just Daniel Bryan kind of leading the way, so the kids got a hell of a future. He’s going to be a fantastic multi-time champion, and I really think he’ll be solidified as a legend, but at the moment he couldn’t hold my jockstrap.

But if we ever get a chance to prove it, I would be humbled and honored to do it. Look at this match from two people who work in two different companies. And if we find a way to make it happen, whether it’s money or people or a city, I’ll do it and donate to charity. I don’t care. Have this match that no one thinks could possibly happen this year and make it go down and have everyone saying, “holy shit, this stuff can really happen. Fans can make things happen. So not just MJF talking on his ass and trying to promote his show that I was going to watch anyway because I have to talk about it on Thursdays on Busted Open. But give him a chance to actually back up the shit he talks.”

Nemeth also gave his thoughts about AJ Styles’ wrestling career and him being hopeful of seeing Styles showing up in AEW or TNA after his retirement from WWE.

“AJ (Styles) is a special performer, and if this is the end of his run, he’s going out on top in all of our eyes and hearts and minds. And I’m glad I got to get a couple reps in there with him. I hope even if he has finished full-time, we could have him part-time or bouncing around or in Japan or in AEW or TNA. I would love to see him, but if he’s calling it a career, he’ll probably become a part-timer or help backstage or something.”

Madison Rayne Comments on Potential Future TNA Hall of Fame Induction

A recent episode of Purrazzo and Steve Maclin’s Boots to Boots podcast featured Madison Rayne as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rayne’s thoughts about the potential of her being inducted into TNA Wrestling’s Hall of Fame in the future.

“I’m deciding on how I want to respond to this. Would it be an honor to have all of that work recognized and to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame? Yes. I would be honored. TNA, Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, gave me the ball to run with, not just at that time in my life when I was a 22-year-old kid who didn’t even realize the magnitude of what was being offered to me. It was like walking through the door of the rest of my life. For that, for the years that I put in and the friendships that I made, the stories I told, the experiences that I had. I’m not too much of a fan to say that I was a huge fan of Victoria and Mickie James back in the day. When they came into TNA, I believe I was their first match. My resume there is unmatched, and I’m confident in saying that, not with ego, but a humble and sincere thought behind it. My resume there is pretty incredible,” she replied.

Would I love to have the opportunity to be inducted into the Hall of Fame? Yes, but I also realized in the last couple of months or years that if that doesn’t happen for me, it doesn’t change everything I’ve done. Someone else making the decision as to whether or not I am worthy of something like that, has no bearing on how proud I am of everything I have done. How proud my husband is of everything I’ve done. My family. When my dad passed away, my mom and I were talking that day. One of the first things she said to me was, ‘He was so proud of you and everything you have done in wrestling. He would tell everybody that his daughter was Maidson Rayne.’ I’ve had people like Skye Blue thank me for everything that I’ve done. Those are the things that matter the most to me. I realized that somebody sitting at a desk somewhere deciding whether or not Madison Rayne should be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame doesn’t matter to me. Real life things are bigger than someone validating me in that way.”
