WWE: Elton Prince Underwent Neck Fusion Surgery, Undisputed WWE Title Match Set for Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Arrest Trial Reportedly Expected to Potentially Be Delayed

Elton Prince Underwent Neck Fusion Surgery

As noted before, Elton Prince has been out of action for WWE since this past May due to an undisclosed injury.

Prince provided an update early today on Instagram revealing that he had suffered a neck injury and he recently underwent neck fusion surgery.

“Back in May I took a bad landing in the ring, the top of my head hit the mat and what felt like burning hot electricity exploded through my neck and my arms, I lost control of my hands as all my fingers curled in and were stuck for a moment. It was pretty terrifying and what followed has been 7 months of tests, questions and well pain. But thanks to the efforts of the WWE medical staff and Dr Kanter, Gina and the Hoag team we found the problem and yesterday I successfully underwent a 2 level neck fusion. Not exactly where I hoped to be at 28 but we are owed nothing in this life and I am just grateful to be on the road to recovery. I want to thank everybody who has messaged or commented to ask how and where I am its been nice to not feel forgotten and I will try my hardest to overcome all the obstacles and get back in the ring for you.

But my focus right now is just getting healthy and reclaiming the basics like being able to be the best dad I can be for my daughter as @kellykincaid_wwe is long overdue a good nights sleep! I Can’t thank her enough for the support and help during all this and while im recovering im excited to watch my brother @kitwilson_pd crush everything he does and get a well deserved spotlight shone on him.”

Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Arrest Update – Trial Reportedly Expected To Potentially Be Delayed

As noted before, a man named Shawn Chan was arrested this past June outside of WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over charges of him being an alleged stalker of Liv Morgan. Chan was issued federal charges related to a stalking incident at Morgan’s home, which Morgan was away from at the time. Chan had filed a motion this past August requesting to be released from jail that was later rejected by the court twice. Chan had filed a notice of insanity defense this past December leading to his trial start date to potentially be delayed.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that prosecutors had filed a motion on January 6th before The United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division on 1/6, outlining their arguments against Chan from introducing an insanity defense in the case against him

Johnson reported that the motion filing argues that Chan now seeking to introduce this insanity claim seven months after the deadline for pre-trial motions had passed and 20 days before the proposed start of his trial is untimely and it should be denied by the Court. The motion filing also argues that the Chan’s legal team claims of delays with the doctor who was examining him being why they needed to wait to file an insanity defense does not hold up to scrutiny.

Prosecutors argued that Chan was claiming he suffered from a “delusion disorder” that led him to believe he was “in a relationship” with Liv Morgan back in September of 2025, well before his medical examination was complete.

Johnson reported that the court has yet to make a decision but Chan’s scheduled trial start date of January 12th is likely expected to be delayed unless an official ruling is made very soon.
